Hi everyone, hope you all had a good Christmas
I got some lovely things
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for selling second hand costume jewellery? None of mine is valuable but there is a lot of it and some pieces are very beautiful so don't know whether to just put it on Ebay for 99p or give it to the charity shop...will not be doing a carboot any time soon.We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Had nice time with the family.
Have been using up what food we have. Only need to get a small amount of food tomorrow. Well that is the plan. Must keep to the shopping list.
Been sorting out some of the clutter in the flat. Hoping to go to the charity shop and the recycling centre in the next week.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Hope everyone is well and having a relaxing time
Had a lovely christmas with both sides of the family at different times, and got some nice thingsHad a big tidy up today so that I could sort out the new christmas gifts into places and had a clear out of some things that we no longer need/use/are useable. Plus cleaned house from top to bottom, so I feel like I've had a very productive day!

I would have a look on ebay and see how costume jewellery is selling. Do you use the advanced search facility? Just in case no, or for anyone else who may find it useful, click on 'advanced' next to search at the top of your ebay page then type in costume jewellery, and to see how much stuff has gone for click on 'completed listings' I would also click on uk only once they come up. I've had a quick look for you and there are some pieces selling and it all adds up
Natnat thanks for the well wishes. Feeling slightly better today. Can't believe I first went to the docs about this a week before Christmas!
Haven't done much I have to say. Taught myself to make crochet buttons last night and they are so sweet, have nothing to put them on though!
Another nsd but only because I'm not fit to go out
Hope everyone is keeping warm and looking forward to the 2012 challenge

I am making bunting for my son's birthday party on Sat, have done the bunting, now off to print out letter templates and then stick it on with the magic that is bond-a-web!!
Bought a sheet of felt for the letters but all the other bits were kicking around and it will last for years to come.
Will post a pic when it's finished.Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.
