Lola was it your birthday yesterday?
I am just catching up with you all and am a bit confused! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Just got back from picking the kitties up from the vets. They have been in for the snip and we found out last night we have three boys  we thought Dinks was a girl :rotfl: They have had their injections done as well they were £75 each and I have four to do  thats without the cost of the snip :eek: I have never had any cat injected before but have decided to this time due to fostering other cats.
We have literally had beans on toast for tea :rotfl::rotfl:
At least they have all been caged together and when I rang (an hour early, how naughty am I) the nurse said they were soooooo cute all snuggled together awwwwwwww.
Must stop talking about cats people are starting to worry :rotfl::rotfl:
I won a sixties wicker shopping basket off of feebay which was £9 I have been trying not to spend any money at all but I have wanted on for such a long time. I hate using supermarket bags and the hessian type always look so grubby and I have been told they are not that much better at being good for the environment. So now I have a bike with a basket and when I walk or go in the car I have a basket to put my shopping in :T:T
Oh the little things in life!!
I also spent £3 on some riding boots which will be great for the winter and I thought that was a good price for todays CS. I have been a little miss spendy this week:o
Jumble sale in the morning :j not sure what to do in the afternoon, baking or sewing........oh to live life on the edge.
Have a greet weekend peeps

hi everyone
hope you are all ok. missed you guys
god i have missed my pc. has been 2 wks now and only had it back today so am only now having the chance to catch up with everything.
cost me £84 to get pc repaired
have still not done a big shop, living off my batch cooking and what i have here
i have been living as frugal as is possible but just hate it when you are going good and something knocks you back ggrrr. the money was supposed to be for other bills so have no had to borrow £30 off my mum because i could only come up with £54.
ah well nevermind at least i got the pc back all working and udated.
luv P

ruby I think you're right. I'm sure it was Lolas birthday yesterday...
sorry Lola belated birthday wishes and hope it was a good 'un
paidinchix your buys sound great. I have a wicker basket too. Similar to one I used to take my cookery things into school with. I love it but the kids hate me using it and to be honest I do get some odd looks when I take it into Mr As with me and sit it in the trolley. Think people are just not used to seeing them anymore.
The image of your kitties snuggled together brought a smile to my face
jammy dodger what a lovely idea for the paper chains. Have fun. I bet they'll look lovely when they're up
seriouslyfrugal have a lovely time in bath. Oh I can imagine it looks very festive this time of year.
Hi purpleorchid glad to see you back but rotten luck on the pc. Sometimes it's the old two steps forward and three back
Today I've finally managed to turn my little Christmas cross stitch makes into cards using my hot glue gun and I've glued my crochet snowflakes onto blank cards too. They look gorgeous! Had to make a huge effort though to do it. Kept putting it off for some reason. On a frugal note I'm sure they would have cost quite a bit of money to buy handmade so I've saved a fair bit
Warm hugs to all.
