so I'm weighing up the hassle and time needed to trawl through the lists for the few things that we eat that are discounted.
The woman on the programme just got anything that was a bargain but that is not me. I wonder if just doing a comparison shop online is enough for my type of shopping. What do you think?0 -
Thanks girls for your lovely words :-) the new teacher is really amazing xx
Hi tumptyteapot... the voucher thingy is amazing!! i cant post a link grrr but its on the forums under vouchers, scroll down and go in and you will see the main one. It took a while to read the first page, but now ive got it im saving! There are lots of free things aswell.. a massive page full of links for money off vouchers.. then a whole list of price comparions, so you know which store to spend them in. Ive got a diary and will be posting my success tonight, so feel free to have a read x

I don't really understand how it works, there just seem to be loads of links to other pages then halfway down someone says there is a link to an updated page?

Just had a look at that programme on tonight, looks interesting, me and DH share all our money (and I control most of it!!!)
Re coupons, I think they're worth a quick scan over but if you're happy to buy value stuff that's often cheaper even with coupons.Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

I have just saved myself £30.00 per year by paying for my land line rental up front for 12 months, this is with PlusNet., and a promise of No increased charges for 12 months.
Well happy!You live..You learn.:)0 -
Anyone see Panorama on Monday, all about the supermarket 'price war'? Nothing new, they are just a bunch of con artists and money grabbing leeches really!
Edit: OK, so I have looked at the coupons. I know this isnt the place to ask (mods - look away now!) but if I have, say a coupon for £1 for cream cheese...and that cream cheese is on offer at £1, do I get it for free? Will I have to buy something else so it doesn't look like I'm getting something for nothing? We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0
