Hello everyone
Had a few days without the Internet as I was charger less - girlie has taken one for this to Slovenia and her laptop one has broken.
She won her first two debates by the way and won best first speaker scoring 78 out of 80!
Went and bought a new one today so much better than the old one.
I have been frazzled all week - Monday is now a blank, Tuesday I had acupuncture in the morning and then accompanied a friend, who is taking her employer to court to the solicitors, Wednesday I was in a lot of pain and slept all day, Thursday wen to the B*T convention which was excellent, this morning forced myself to dance therapy and then went out this evening for a friend's birthday.
Tomorrow will be the celebration for my friend who passed away.
I haven't felt so utterly exhausted in a long time - might be a good idea to get to bed I suppose!
Have had quite a few NSDs so that's good. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Hi Ruby. Well done to your DD :T
Hope all goes well tomorrow at the Celebration of your friends life.
I'm off to bed too, should have gone earlier really.
Take care of yourself and well done on those nsds.

Thanks Dizzy.
I feel too tired to move!:rotfl:

Apologies if this is already on the frugal list, but this might be of use to someone.0 -
I remembered Monday!:rotfl:
I did training for Thursday.
Helping out at the Market today on our committee stall at the Christmas fete.
Not sure if I'll manage a NSD but probably a LSD.
Tomorrow I will go swimming and breathe before I explode! Here dead we lie because we did not choose

flourgirl thanks sooooo much for the link. Will have a good look on there later
ruby I'm glad it's not just me that can forget whole days. They do
come back eventually but I have to think really hard and think around those days to try and get an idea where and what I was doing! Frightening isn't it? I think it's more to do with the fact that we have that many things going on that we're trying to juggle it all just gets a bit muddled. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it
Today I desperately need to buy a Christmas tree.
Had a look in H*mebase at the half price sale and some were still over £100 even in the sale, who would have been buying an artificial Christmas tree at over £200?!
Anyway I want one that the branches just fold up/down and are all attached rather than the ones were you have to add the stems and they're on those metal poles that you slot in....
I love Christmas and the meaning of it of course and all its twinkly, sparkly beauty but I really am not a putting up and pulling down Christmas tree person. Usually the children decorate it.
Years ago I used to hang our Christmas cards on wool stretched across the walls and attached with drawing pins and with 5 children at one stage in school we would get hundreds of cards and the air has been blue when having put them up, row upon row, the pins would fall out and there they'd be scattered all over the floor. Then I discovered those card holders that you just slot the cards into...oh how I love those card holders
Aww I sound a right bah humbug don't I?
So today I'm off to buy a tree. Also need new decorations because I charity shopped ours a few months ago, just because I wanted a different colour theme, but me and DD can't agree on one. Kept the childrens special ones they'd chose over the years but DD doesn't want those on the tree because she says they always spoil the colour theme, bah humbug she is
So as you can see what should be a relatively easy pleasant thing to do becomes a chore. I love the ones in Ike@, red and white scandinavian theme but I love coloured baubles too. Argggh I'm going back to bed!
When I do eventually get a tree up I'll post a pic. Would love to see everyone elses tree, if you do celebrate this time of year.
Sorry for the moan. I think this tiredness doesn't help.
Warm hugs to everyone today
