Oh thanks Cherryjack, will have pop in there today. We have a store not too far away. I just hate the thought of slotting in those metal bits and faffing aroundHopefully they'll still do the same style.
Thanks slowly. Have fun doing yours
Right I'm off now, better show willing

I'm back...rotten miseable rainy weather. But we have a tree.
Thanks Cherryjack for the wilk@ info  We got this one link and the branches are all attached :j They did have a taller one but the branches although they did seem attached were on those metal things and you could see them through the branches so we opted for the 6ft one.
Haven't got baubles yet, think we're having blue and silver. Going to have a look on google images to see if this will look nice.
In wilk@s they had fireplace garlands as well decorated with berries and pinecones for £10. Might get one of those and put some coloured lights through it. Never had a garland before but we do put lovely candle holders on and these link that were a £1 each from £1land.
So I'm really pleased with my tree and I'm looking forward to putting it up and doing a bit of decorating on it as well!
On the frugal side it was only £18 compared to the prices at h@mebase so that is a brilliant bargain!
Hope everyone is having a lovely day. Just got to pick up DD from work soon then I'm settling down to some knitting. That's the plan anyway

Aw it will won't it
Because it's slimline I'm hoping it will fit next to one of our units in the alcove if we move it to the side rather than putting at the back of the house. Nothing like gazing at a twinkly tree in the evening
I'm getting a bit excited now
