Seriouslyfrugal thanks for the info re L*dl. There's one not too far from us so will be popping in
Aril well done on the new job  Love all your crafty halloweenies. They're soooooo cute.
OH came home from work this morning and presented me with a bouquet of flowers. "Aw what are those for?" asks me. "Happy Anniversary love" he replies. And hands me an envelope with money in to spend on a day out for us both.
Oops! Married 22 years today. I blame my chest infection, I'm at sixes and sevens. Going to relax and pamper myself in this half term break.
Remember the little Christmas cross stitch I'd lost and couldn't find anywhere? Well OH found it this morning........behind the breadbin! I didn't see it when I was cleaning behind thereahem
Warm hugs to everyone.

Morning peeps
Went round the house last night with a candle checking for draughts.
Have just come to the conclusion our new neighbour opposite must really think we are quite mad as the house is half decorated for Halloween and we were walking round with a candle. Picturing in my mind that he thinks we were on a ghost hunt round the house :rotfl::rotfl: That coupled with us all in snuggle blankets we must have looked such a sight

Also I could do with some winter shoes but not at full price ! It's not far from Bristol but if the reductions are not that great it won't be worth the journey
Tumpty - I have been there many times, its ok, I wouldn't say amazing bargain basement discounts though tbh. The Joules shop in Street however...;)
Dizzie - Happy AnniversaryThanks for the update on Sandra

ditto. my fave is the Fat Face shop, havnt been in a year or so, hope its still there, might go next wknd. Joules is good, but for me the disounts aren't as good as their sell out warehouse events i'm lucky to live near their home town in the midlands. I like M&S best, had some great bargains there. and Le Cruset is fab but dangerous!
Dizzie - happy anniversary, i hope u feel better soon.
thankyou for updating us on Sandra. I've been thinking of her.

Oooo. Spiral, are you a Leicestershire lass? I went to school with Tom Joules, his dad started the company on the county fairs and they with a shop in church street. I love going back to my home town although I don't know so many folk there now.Trying to keep in budget.

I'm a tad further south, in northamptonshire. I really like Leicester though. Cool that u went to school with Tom Joules! Love their style esp the winter woolies, and summer tea dresses for weddings ect.
I live close to market harborough, where their flagship shop is, and cafe. Their warehouse events are held at Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby... They'd be worth returning to the area for alone!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products.
