Ooh God Sandra is it really awful of me that I laughed when I got to the end of your post!:o
Goodness me - what a time of it you have had!
So sorry - it was your granddaughters and your husband that made me laugh!
Did they reduce your daughter's medication? Hope she will soon be right as rain and you get to have some time to relax! xxxHere dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Sandra - massive hugs. I'm sorry to hear that u can no longer go on ur day trip x
I don't know if you have these services nearby, but they may be able to give u a little regular time to yourself. Befriending, respite, carers helpers.
Tumpty, sorry to be hearing of your cat, massive hugs.
23rd, men! Pah!
Well done on the job (sorry can't remember everyone who said they got jobs recently)
Good luck to those still looking.
Hugs to everyone! Sorry to anyone I've forgotten, I have a head like a sieve, n this fone doesn't let me see the posts when I'm typing
Had a bit of an exciting week.
Mr F took me and son to Glasgow on Saturday night, we stayed in Menzies hotel went out to a Japanese restaurant, where they cook the food at ur table, juggle the knives , throw fried potato slices into ur mouth, I think the restaurant is called sapporro, son absolutely loved it (so did I.) The hotel has a swimming pool n spa, so we spent a lot of time in the pool. Son was very erm... not jealous, but certainly making sure that Mr F knew that I was sons 'territory' ... first thing he said when we got in the room was "their is no bed for me, look one for Mr F, and one for mummy, but none for me." Then made a big song n dance about us sharing n Mr F wasn't allowed on our bed (lol). Then at swimming, Mr F kissed me on the cheek, and son pushed him away and shouted "don't u kiss my mummy again!" Then washed where he kissed me! Told me 5 mins later that it was only him who gets to kiss me.
We went to the transport museum, I'm.sol glad we didn't pay in. I didn't like it. Wasn't same atmosphere as the old building .
I'm not too worried about sons reactions, I'm taking everything slow infront of son, and this is the first person he has ever seen me kiss, other than him. Although it is not the first time he has seen us kiss (he's normally in the car after a day out etc) .
I've requested to take a year out of uni, so I can let my meds get a chance to work, and sort out my head. I'm gutted at not being at uni, or at it going to take another year to get my degree, but my health comes first. I'm now just waiting to see if my request is accepted or not.
so applied for 2 jobs. Fingers crossed , 1 is office hours, but means when I go back to uni I'd need to give it up, the other is shift work. Don't know if I can handle shift work again.
Mr F is off on holiday today for a week. Greece to be best man at his best friends wedding.
A whole week without him! Lol what will I do!! (He told me on Friday that he loves me! Proper telling this time. And now that he has said it, he doesn't stop lol)
The cleaning mojo hasn't really come back, but I got rid if another bag of junk from the room, and have been giving away old craft magazines.Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb

Hello fellow frugallers:j
Thank you so much for all my birthday wishes and your poem SandraScarlett. Huge hugs to all those having a rough time at the mo' - good luck with the interview SF.
I started my part time job yesterday- so far so good. The chap is really nice and very laid back. Still need to find something else which could take a little while as really would like another part time position. Having come from a full time job that I did enjoy but often having to deal with some very challenging clients I really do just want something simple these days. I've paid £6 to put an ad in the local paper so shall see if that gets any response aswell as continuing to look for work online. When I feel a bit braver I might do some local fliers and drop them off round the industrial estates.
Only very low spends here- couple of small items have been bought from the CS and added to the Chrimbo gift stash and am hoping to get along to our local hospital booksale [never been able to go before because was always working]. I have an appointment with the volunteer bureau tomorrow to see if I can get a few hours sorted out....would like to give something back as have got the time at the mo' and you never know where these things might lead.

Belated birthday wishes from me as well.
....and congratulations on getting that job. Fingers crossed for something else suitable to "fill the gap".0 -

My cat died during the night, she looked peaceful this morning so I'm hoping she just fell asleep and didn't wake up. Frugal sweetheart saved me the vets fees today. I wish I could have saved her the last bit of suffering as she was meowing when she couldn't settle but I did my best.0

Sandra - Big hugs to you - I know its not going exactly top priority for you atm but it might be worth complaining about that receptionist..
Lola - You little boy made me laugh! Sooo cute (although you probably don't think that!). Hope it does not turn into an issue
Tumpty - Massive hugs to you xxxx
Am being naughty this weekend and going home already - I get Fridays off, so could be a permanent thing! We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Aah Tumpty that is the best outcome I think.
Poor old love.
We are celebrating the girlie's birthday today as she is off to Leeds tomorrow to attend the University open day on her birthday on Saturday.
Luckily she has lots of friend's up there to help her celebrate but it will be strange not seeing her on her birthday.
Just finishing my second cuppa then I will get crackerlacking.
I've two cakes to make - the renowned chocolate smartie cake and a poppy seed cake.
Hope everyone manages to have a lovely day - more peaceful for some. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
