Sounds good Spiral.
Popped in to see my neighbour's son who was visiting with his family and had a word with him today.
So glad I did it that way - definitely the right thing to do.
Didn't go for a swim - went back to sleep instead!
Now of course I feel guilty for wasting a lovely day! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Aah sorry to hear about your 'boyfriend' Silva.
Hope all is well with you xxxHere dead we lie because we did not choose

Sorry to hear about your "Gentleman Companion" Silva, he must have felt really chuffed to have enhanced the photo for you, and how nice that you have that to treasure.
My Daddy made me a dolls house out of two orange boxes.:) He used leftover bits of wallpaper and lino, and I had some plastic furniture - and I loved it!
I had some imaginary friends, and we'd take it in turns to arrange the furniture (!!!!!), and I'd be enthralled for hours. I loved playing shops in our freezing attic, where I stacked all the empty packets and boxes, and my other favourites were my Post Office Set, my dolls, and my Bus Conductor's Set!!
I used to ping a little box, and then select a ticket, and it was wonderful!! All my dolls used to be the passengers, and I'd quickly change to being the bus driver, and we'd go to far-away places, like Hackney! Happy Days!

What a wonderful scene that evokes Sandra. Playing with ordinary household items & lots of imagination! I've got a vision of something by Mabel Lucie Atwell!!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Hi Rising. Ooh bet that's annoying for you. As the days go by hopefully the sensitivity will lessen.
Ruby that lie in will have done you good. I must admit some mornings I wake up and feel like I've done ten rounds with Mike Tyson, and I know this sounds completely barmy, but usually when I've had a big salad...
Silvasava sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Take care.
I've got a little bit of x stitch to finish for a birthday card for DS girlfriend and then I'm going to put my feet up for the rest of the evening, until it's time to 'gather' the kids up from their various places.
Popped into town today and cancelled my subscription to Vintage Life. I enjoy reading the magazine but it's not cheap, what is these days, and I'm becoming a lot more mindful of what I'm spending these days. Also got my £15 deposit back
Did a food menu for the week and wanted to make a chocolate cake and a coffee and walnut one but didn't get round to it...I really cannot believe how the days whizzzzzzzzz by!
Luvz and hugz to all

Oh I say Spiral some interesting interpretations from The Dream Moods DictionaryCould just drink a wee glass of your cider too

ApplesTo see apples growing in a tree in your dream symbolize knowledge, wisdom and great prosperity. Rewards are on the horizon for you. Consider also the common phrase, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" which may imply that you need to take better care of your health. Perhaps you need to go to the doctor. Or the dream may also be a metaphor for an apple computer.
To dream that you are eating an apple denotes harmony, pleasure, and fertility. In a biblical sense, eating an apple symbolizes your sexual appetite, lustful desires, and sexual awareness as associated with the apple in the Garden of Eden.
To see green apples represent developing love or love that has yet to blossom.
To see rotten or eaten apples in your dream, indicates that whatever you are striving and aiming for may not be fulfilling, and even harmful to you. It may also represent neglect and carelessness.Official DFW Nerd Club Member no:219In the Court Of The Crimson KingI don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.Gary Larson0 -
Dizzy the days really are whizzing by aren't they - can't believe it's Monday again tomorrow.
Don't think I mentioned I have started a course to do with promoting Mental health issues on a Monday - only been once but it really took it out of me!
NSD for me today.

Havent been out for a while, as been ill. But this weekend went to my BF,s. He took me to the cinema on Friday. Havent been in years.
Then on Saturday he took me out for lunch as well. Yipee. I didnt have to pay for any of it. So thats great. There are a couple of charity shops below the restaurant, in Cowley. So while he went to get a few bits from the supermarket, I had a nose. I spent £10.50. I bought a coat for DGD £3.50 and a pair of jeans £1.50. Then a jigsaw for £2.00, then I spied a Lace Making kit, for £3! Which is something I have never done before but always fancies a go at. So I am happy with that. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning peeps
I hope everyone had a good weekend.
I am after a little advice if you would all be so kind.
What age do you start going through the change?? I was going to book into the doctors today but Mondays are always so busy with the backlog from the weekend and the doctors are always too busy to wait for me to get to the pointI do struggle.
I have always suffered "that time of the month" but for the last year it has been getting particularly bad. I always got a little down in the dumps/felt sorry for myself but lately I really have got down, not just fed up but that scape me up with a shovel I am so low. I know I am getting like this and yet I still can't shake the feeling.
My hair and skin has gone really dry and I have become even more sensitive to washpowders/shampoos etc. Someone I went to school with is saying she has gone through some changes and the docs are testing for the menopause but nothing has shown up. My mother is not the sort to discuss what age she was and my aunt had a hysterectomy so she has no clue. What age does it start and how long does it go on for???? I would google but then I find all kinds of diseases and wind myself up :rotfl::rotfl:
I am sorry if this is too much info first thing on a Monday morning
