Hiya I bought myself a wilton 3d bear pan from ebay as a christmas present to myself and it just keeps falling apart! Apparently pound cake is the best recipie to use so i googled it theres some that use sour cream or yoghurt or some that just use a LOT of butter lol any clever person who knows what theyre doing reccomend a recipie to try? Thanks0

Emmzy I'd recommend the easy vanilla cake from bbcgoodfood.com, or a plain Madeira cake.
Here's a few of my Christmas bakes, rather than post them all here, there's a link to my flickr

Those are gorgeous Annie and Starsquishy - so professional. Just finished this week's batch of Christmas present cupcakes - I have 3 lots this week and 5 next for staff. Nowhere near as good as yours but hopefully they will be appreciated.
There are ginger with crystallised ginger in the buttercream, vanilla with the christmas trees and chocolate with chocolate ganache buttercream roses. Think the box needs some red so will include some in next week's boxes.0 -

The pink and blue pastle balls are the silver spoon sachets. About 20p each in Sainsburys

Hi ladies just popped on for a bit of advice, I am baking cupcakes for a party tomorrow I have done my vanilla ones no problems, but my chocolate ones have all shrunk away from the paper and look awful - not sure what the problem is as its the same receipe as the vanilla just substitued a couple of spoons of flour for cocoa powder, any ideas? I'm going to have to start again but not sure what to do lolMum to 4 beautiful children
