This week's cake is for a "bring and share" lunch at church today. It's a light fruit cake (off bbcgoodfood.com) with a layer of marzipan (yuk) under the icing

Hi there, fab cakes as usual. Does anyone have a yummy recipe for chocolate brownie please. I have tried loads now and none taste right - they either aren't chocolatey enough, too dry or have added ingrediants like cookies or wafer biscuits.

Also had my 1st try at cake pops & ice creams, and made cupcakes for christmas fair, the top ones were baileys and were really nice.

  • Hi everyone,
i am new to this thread hope you dont mind me eavesdropping.
I make cupcakes, lots of them but i am having trouble getting my buttercream to look really chocolatey. What do you guys use? It always tastes nice but always a really light brown.

Maybe you're just not using enough cocoa. Or have you tried using ganache to cover them? Yummy :)
