I got some of the CMC today so will try using it to make some models soon and see how I go. How much do you need to use?

lolly, do you mean sugar paste? regal-ice is a brand of sugar paste so I assume so? I buy mine from either a local sugarcraft shop (there are 3 I use) or order online from http://www.almondart.com/

Some of the other posters on here use morrison's own brand but I find it a bit sticky! I've got some 'supercook' sugar paste which morrisons also sell but I haven't tried it yet.

I find the 'proper' stuff from the sugar craft shops is easier to work with and nicer tasting, its not as sweet...or not to me anyway!!!

    hi all,
my daughter has asked for a princess castle cake for her birthday does anyone have any tips for me? I so far had the idea of using a square cake for a base with either a smaller square or round cake on top and then the ice cream cones to make the top of the turrets but no idea what to use for the actual turrets themselves!
if anyone has made one of these already then i'd love to see a picture :)

on the almond art website on the page for sugar paste their is a place you can click that brings up a table that tells you how much you need for different cake sizes.
