  • I use Morrisons sugarpaste and its so easy to work with, you can have a look at cakes I make with it and I find it as good as regalice (renshaws one)

    I find morrisons one to be too soft and sticky. I especially don't like it for modelling figures etc as it doesn't dry very well so they stay soft and get mis-shapen every time you pick them up!
  • really? I do a lot of modelling and have never had a proplem. Do you add CMC wher you do your models? My models go rock hard overnight and I sell them online- they even survive postage.

  • Its a powder, also known as tylose powder that you knead into sugarpaste to make modelling paste. It makes the sugarpaste dry a lot harder and easier to modell
