:T Brilliant idea & brilliant cake!0

For his 6th birthday party last month, my grandson had a 'Crocodile Encounters' party where they bring different sorts of reptiles for the children to touch, including a crocodile! Well actually it was a caiman, but the 5 & 6 year olds didn't know that!
Of course the only cake I could do for him was a crocodile (with a bit of artistic licence!).0 -

I do too. It makes me feel inadequate, though! Look at that - standing up - and grass, and modelling. *Sigh*Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

the anniversary cake was ok but i wasn't best pleased with how it turned out. The silver didn't look good.
I'M going to attempt a walking dead cake, if you google it it will come up in images. Hopefully it will look abit like the pictures! any advice?0 -

The stand up grass I could just about have a go at, though it would look as scruffy as our lawn does in real life - it was the CAKE standing up that I was impressed with - and everything so neat and tidy overall. The Curly Wurlys as a fence is inspired!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
That Hobbit-hole cake is adorable! :T'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0

Hi ladies
Looks like we are getting busier on here againI need some advise I am having trouble lately with my cupcakes, When they come out of the oven the cases are coming away for some reason I thought perhaps there was a fault with the cases so bought different ones and these did the same. I made 24 cupcakes last night 12 choc and 12 vanilla the vanilla ones weren't that bad but the chocolate ones I have had to take out of the cases luckily they are only for my sons school party. I have tried leaving them in the tins to cool but they the cake went soggy from all the steam in the tins. Any ideas why this is happening do you think I am taking them out of the tins too quickly?
Thanks0
