thanks annie and cherrydee for your replies.

cherrydee I will give that recipe a go and its good to know how much cocoa to use. that is the same mould I have

annie I use dairy free spread in everyday use and never thought about not using it for cakes until I had so many failures. I will try using butter.

Hi would you be able to share the recipe you used? I have used my giant cupcake mould a couple of times but both times the cake has collapsed. I have greased the mould well but wonder if it is the margarine I am using - it is soya dairy free. tia

I've used my giant cupcake mould loads of times and never had a problem. I always use Stork Mark for all my baking. I think the important thing is after you have greased your mould is to dust it generously with flour.

This is the recipe I use
http://www.be-ro.com/f_insp.htm However, if I do not want a chocolate cake, then I leave out the coacoa powder and add an extra 1oz of flour instead.

I use 2 lots of the above recipe, one for the base and one for the top of cupcake mould. Sometimes there is a little left over.

Hey ladies, just wondered do any of you do themed cake pops? Just simple ones like Lego men? if so do you have any pics? My sons birthday is coming up in September and he doesn't want a party so we are heading to the Lego Discovery centre and other places for the weekend. He pretty much only plays with lego, he has lots of other toys but it is always new inventions with Lego! If you do make them what sort of price do you charge? PM me if you prefer :)

came across this lady tonight whilst on twitter x

Made some Hot Chocolate cupcakes from the Hummingbird cake days book last night, they are made with hot choc powder rather than cocoa. They are sooo nice!
