Just tried it on my 19" (very cheap recon Tiny from Moragan Auctions) CRT and it is certainly different.
Makes the type much bolder. Will try it for a day or two not sure whether I like it yet or not!!0 -

This alleged free screen text enhancer is only available free for windows XP. So it is not free for non XP users. There is no technical reason for this to be an exclusive XP release.

And another tip if you want to Increase or decrease font size of already written text in word highlight the piece of text the press and hold down Ctrl key and click the ] symbol to increase or [ to decrease font size.
or just hold down control key and move the scroll button on your mouse.0 -
There's a freeware program called ClearTweak that allows you to refine the ClearType contrast even more. I've used it in the past and found it useful, and as far as I know, it doesn't have any adware in it!
