Cat gone missing - frantic :(

Hi,
Hope you don't mind me butting in but I was searching for "missing cat" and found this thread.
Like you, one of our cats has gone missing - he's just over a year old and has never wandered off before. We too live in a rural area, surrounded by fields and I'm a bit worried that he's come to harm. He's quite a wary cat and wouldn't go off with strangers so I can only hope that he's shut up somewhere and will reappear soon. Some of the above posts has given us hope that he'll come back but I must admit that I'm getting a bit worried. We have quite a few gamekeepers nearby and I know that they're not very keen on cats.
Do hope that your cat returns soon - as does ours. I know his sister (and my children) are missing him.0 -
Hi
I've been checking here daily hoping for some good news. I do hope your cats return safely. I too would feel desparate/frantic. If they are gone more than a couple of hours then I worry. Please update when there is some news. I'm going to have some cat cuddles now and send you some positive thoughts. I feel so lucky to have my little companions safe and well.
Please keep us posted0 -
Hi,
I'm afraid mollie still hasn't returned
I'm trying to stay positive but it has been 9 days now so we are starting to think she might not be coming home

Sorry to hear Mollie's still missing, ours has been gone since Tuesday night - I hoped he'd have returned by now especially as the weather has been horrendous - torrential rain and gales.
Still, fingers crossed for them both.0 -
We decided to adopt a little cat that seemed to have no home to go to.I'm trying to stay positive but it has been 9 days now so we are starting to think she might not be coming home
We took him to the vet for a check-up and to get him chipped - and he already had a chip!
He had been missing a year, and had travelled several counties - probably a stowaway.
In the meantime his owner had moved house.
She thought she would never see him again.
There was crying on the phone and it all got very emotional.
She had a long way to travel, but she collected him the same afternoon.
Stay positive.0 -
Don't forget to keep emptying the contents of your vacuum cleaner into the garden. The rain will have washed the smells away, so this might help them find their way home, esp on a windy day.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Mancbird, sorry to hear about your cat. Presume no news?
My cat's been missing for 17 days. It's a horrible experience.0
