Hi,
Didn't want to just read and run - hope little Mollie is soon back with you, so you can concentrate on looking after yourself and baby-to-come xxRIP Marmaduke 04.02.11, MIsty 09.06.12 and Rufus 19.7.24 very, very sadly missed xxx

Another little tip is always walk outwards without calling her name and then call her as you're walking towards your home, if she is further away and you're shouting her you could accidently lead her further out instead of closer to you, the other way around and you could lead her closer to your home to find her own way home, I really really really hope you find her xx0

I really hope she's fine, and will be back soon as if nothing has happened. It's so easy to fear the worst, but I've heard of cats making their way home weeks after going missing and being perfectly OK, so try not to worry too much.
Fingers crossed for you and please let us know when she returns!0 -
Sending positive vibes, hope she is back soon. I go nuts when mine don't come in. Thinking of you0

I was hoping the dog might encourage her out or even point her out, but if it's excitable that is a drawback. We do have a dog but I think Moll would be more likely to stay hidden if we went looking for her with the dog. Although they do get on to a certain extent, Mollie tends to keep her distance from the dog as the dog is only a year old and can be a bit giddy.
Perhaps when the dog is walked it can be taken around the perimeter and maybe Mollie will follow the dog home, at a distance.
At least it would lay another scent trail.
The possible sightings sound positive - she must be working her way home.0 -
That is just so sensible!Another little tip is always walk outwards without calling her name and then call her as you're walking towards your home, if she is further away and you're shouting her you could accidently lead her further out instead of closer to you, the other way around and you could lead her closer to your home to find her own way home, I really really really hope you find her xx
We used to take our cats when we stayed with relatives.
On the morning we were due to leave, one went missing.
I stood on a hill calling him, and was relieved to hear him answer from the hill opposite.
The valley between us was unpassable, so I hurried round the long way.
I called again only to hear him answer from the hill I'd left - we'd swapped hills.
It was like we were playing out the Indian Love Call.
This carried on for some time, until returning to the house (I needed a drink) we met in the garden.
Happy reunion!
Indian Love Call : They hear a distant and haunting call across the lake, ... They listen and hear in the distance a mysterious feminine voice make its reply. (Wiki)
