But by you moaning on mse about her moaning on fb, are you not being just as childish?
I agree that it is thoughtless of her, but as the adult, should you not just be rising above it?0 -
I couldn't have not said anything.
Being 17 is no excuse for being nasty about people. I would have replied (pleasantly) to her status so she knew I had seen it.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Louise, I am so thankful you posted. I was starting to think I'm odd! (no comment lol)
Blue Elephant and P3nnylane, I see your point but at least on mse you can have some sort of anonymity, which you can't on FB, so for me it's a little different. I also think that posting on mse the OP got it out of her system and was able to refrain from posting on FB, which I must admit I would not have been able to do!LBM: August 2006 £12,568.49 - DFD 22nd March 2012

The same as a few years ago, you could whinge to your mates about family, which to be fair most teenagers do, but it wasn't going to hurt anyone.
This would be why I would never add most of my family to facebook, whether I like them or not!! And certainly not cross generations at any rate. Not because I'm constantly whining about them, but because people have separate spaces and functions in each other's lives, and fb tries to make one cap fit all.
Technically anonymous, but these forums are in the top ten most visited social networking sites!
You don't have to use somebody's name for them to be able to recognise themselves or a situation from your posts.0 -

But wasn't that just what the niece was doing on fb? EDIT: a closed forum.
I'm not standing up for the niece, just merely pointing out the similarities.0 -
ignore her, she will have something else to moan about soon, most 17 year olds do.......TROLL SLAYER......0
