    Hi Frodo,

Exactly, I am scared but I really want to do it, if it gets too scary I can always fly home, nothing is forever and you're right I have family here and friends but I don't see them that often (obviously I do my mum and dad) but I can go months without seeing my brothers. We can Skype and stuff so it's no big deal. The BF left Holland 7 years ago for a life as a pancake chef here in the UK (tell me about it!) he was only meant to be here a year. He only has work here to keep him here and obviously now me. He would leave tomorrow if he could but I am thinking leave in March once our contract is up on the rent and then go off into the sunset.

Yep it's gonna be scary but it's the start of a new life :) xxx

  • you should at least give it a try but leave the route open to come back if it doesn't work out. If you don't at least give it a go you will always wonder what if?

  • Rchick - Very excited for you, it does sound like the right choice at this point in your life, and sounds like you will be better off financially too. I guess it will give you the chance to start again really. Good luck with the planning and organising. And Well done on the weight loss! :T :T

Also well done to Frodobaggins, beanielou, mandz1 and anyone else I've missed who has shed. :T :T :T :T

Well I'm a huge big disappointment this week, I've now put on a further 1lb. Now 11 stone 12lbs. And the exercise really dropped off this week. So much for having a new incentive :o I've given myself a hug and said 'don't beat yourself up about it, have a nice cup of tea and plan your fat attack for next week'.

I have 5 weeks left of my contraceptive pill which gives me time to complete my running plan, then I'll be running 30mins at least 4 times a week by the time we start trying for a baby, so it will be safe for me to run through my pregnancy (if we get lucky of course). I need to use those 5 weeks to really shift some weight and up the exercise. Part of me wants to just stop taking it now but I really want to be fitter for pregnancy. And it's another month to pay off debts. I think that the weight will come off more easily once I'm off the pill too.

I have, however, cleared the Virgin CC :T , so remaining debts are

    Barclaycard: £420
    Santander: £2,879

Nice round figures and both still at 0% interest. Barclaycard 0% until Jan 2012 and Santander 0% until June 2012.

    +2lb/6lb and £500.38/£500

I will clear Barclaycard next month, then it's all hands on deck to get the Santander card cleared. At the rate I'm clearing currently, Debt Free Day is 9th March 2012. I will bring this forward. :)

Wish me luck for a week of shredding, running and dieting ahead.

    HI Bobble,

Oh dear, never mind!! There is always next week!!

I think you're all right now is the perfect time to go. I'm 22, no kids, a bit of debt and a whole life ahead of me, I don't really have anything to lose. I am going to have serious discussions this weekend with the BF, maybe even get a little joint savings account going and pop some tat on ebay as it's free listings (no time like the present to make some pennies!) I would need to find out about how it all works with banks and stuff when you're out of the country as I don't want to run away from my debt and then come back to a wrecked credit file and bailiffs at the door!!

Off to the comedy club tonight for my mums birthday, really looking forward to it. Plus I am off bowling tomorrow with the BF and my best friend and her new husband (also a friend of mine!) so good times are ahead :) xxxx

  • Poor Bobble, try not to get down about it, today is another day. Whats important is you keep trying and it will happen. I think you've got the ultimate motivation, planning your baby. Sometimes these things happen with no preparation beforehand lol!

You have done really well up til now, so keep going. We all hit these little patches. Chin up chuck.:)

I am not exaclty sure what my plan will be but I weighed myself yesterday. 13 stone 7 pounds. Depressing yes, but it is a starting point.

actually Bobble what running programme are you doing?

and Rdchick - have you started the course yet. I am quite excited now I have the code!

oh food today = 2 crossiants and a banana sandwich.

I haven't started yet Buffy I think I'll log in tomorrow, as I only have my iPad I have to snaffle usage of the boys laptop to do it. Can't wait though.

Had fun last night at the comedy club for my mums birthday, as ever she got drunk... She never means to, she's always this prim and proper lady but when ever we go to the comedy club she drinks a lot as we get wine by the bottle full :D I was sober as I drove plus I don't see the point in drinking lol!

Haven't got the guts to tell the folks about our plans about moving to SA. They know we wanna get married there, as my mum told my big bro that he should start saving for the plane ticket. His response was that he would start saving once R had popped the question... Lol...

Bowling tonight, one of my friends has fallen out with me because of it... She then put on her facebook status how she does things for people and they never put out for her... She has been my best friend since I was 5... I have put up with a LOT of greif from her in the past, like messing me around and not coming to my 18th birthday, making my parents cut the family holiday short because she thought she had meningitis but actually just had a stiff neck and missed her mum... Stuff like that, but because I refuse to come to her house that she's just moved into because she hasn't bothered coming to ours since we moved in 6 months ago (we now live 20 miles away from my home town where she lives) petty I know but out of principle I'm not always jumping for her... Sorry, had to vent and can't do it on Facebook... Lol!

Hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday, it's bath time now!

    Love love xxx

  • Just 1lb off for me. Really need to be better and stop using food as a reward/comfort/misery/support.
