Right, I've made up my mind. For the month of July, I am going to save (clear) £500 and lose 6lbs (although secretly trying for 8lbs). Good Luck everyone! :T

I am going to stop eating between meals and ration my chocolate addiction to 2 chunks of Green and Blacks 70% (Anniversary pressie from DH) per day. I think if I tried to give up entirely I would binge.

I will continue the 10 week running plan. Week two already and I am taking my trainers on holiday.

    Ok, my plan is to

Cut right down on my bread, I eat at the moment 6 slices a day at 97 cals a slice, its quite a chunk gone.

Cut out biscuits and cake but will incorperate a small treat.

Cut down on the coffee, I take it with milk, no sugar and comes out at 50cals a cup and have at least 6 cups a day.

    Drink more water.

    Some sort of exercise, everyday.

Theres nearly 900cals just in the bread and milk

Well today I went on an impressive walk up on Dartmoor with my FIL. Had a great time, may have caught the sun a bit though, my nose is looking suspiciously red! Made friends with a dartmoor pony foal and its mum too which was amazing!
All in all we hiked around 7 miles, and it was pretty rough terrain with alot if steep inclines. Well we did walk up 2 of the tors! So I'm hoping that will have burned quite a few calories! Also I resisted the ice cream van in the car park, and when we stopped at the pub on the way home I let FIL buy me a diet coke. To make it even better it was a NSD for me. If I keep this up I will have plenty of money spare at the end of the month to tackle a debt!

Hope things are going well for everyone else! :D

well done you! that's awesome! and a NSD even better!!

on other notes when do people want to weigh in?

I'm going to weigh in on Friday mornings so that way too much over indulgence over the weekend shouldn't do too muh damage as I'll have 5 days to burn it off!

The shred dvd has arrived so I will be doing that EVERY morning - the front of the box says lose 20lbs in 30 days... we shall see ;) xxx

  • Hi All
I have a feeling I may do better with the debt repayment than the weight loss. Pay day for me today so I have put £340 to my CC.

It is my mum's birthday soon so I will be spending tonight making strawberry jam as I want to do a wee hamper for her. Hopefully will get out for a walk too if the rain stays off.
