OP did you not hang about to meet your name twin? I would have!

Not sure how much credence I'd give to a website with such a glaring grammar mistake in its name...

I managed to lock 'another me' out of their on-line bank account last week.

Tried to log in using my normal user name (which is a combination of my first name and last name), then tried and re-tried to get it to accept my password. It turns out that when I'd registered with that site my usual user name had already been taken by someone else, so I'd had to use something different.

My apologies to the other SueC if you're reading this!

Well for a bit of fun enter your name here http://www.yournotme.com/ tells you how many people in the UK apparently have the same name as you.....
I really don't know how accurate it is though but there is apparently 13 of me (I have an unusual surname)

Yeah, I'm unique, tried this website and no-one else in UK with my name. Unusual surname and Christian name spelt differently (my mother was still high on pethadine when she named me!).:T

I was browsing through a Charity auction folder on Facebook a couple of months ago when i noticed i'd been tagged in one of the photos. I had to do a double take because there on the screen was a peice of jewellery very similar to one i'd made on top of a business card with my name on it. It was only the business card being different to mine that made me realise there's someone else out there with my name who does the same thing as me. Her facebook profile name was shortened like mine is and her business name is her full name again like mine. I saved the picture and was going to email her because her email address is shown on the card. That was quite freaky actually and i saved the pic as OMG!!!!!! I might pluck up the courage and email her actually.

I was seriously tempted, but I'd just got some frozen food, and didn't want to hang around. Also, the lady who had put out the tannoy announcement had some concerns about the health of my namesake, so it really didn't feel appropriate:(
