Just a coincidence?

Please let me start by saying that I'm not normally a worrier, but I've just had a strange experience that has really freaked me out.
In real life, I have an unusual first name, spelt in the way that the French would and a rare, but English surname. I have set up numerous free email accounts using them and have never had any problems with someone getting the name first. The combination of first name and surname I've always thought were pretty unique. My first name is unusual enough that most people in work don't know my surname.
I was in the biggest Sainsbury's this afternoon and heard my name being called over the tannoy to go to the front of the store. This isn't my regular store, nor would I have been there at that time normally. I went to Customer Services, thinking maybe I'd dropped something like a card, identified myself, and was pointed to a lady who had asked for the announcement to be made. I wasn't the right one..... but this other person spells her name in exactly the same way as mine.
It wasn't until I was driving home that thoughts of identity theft started to spring into my mind. For two people with the sames combination of unusual names to be living in the same area seems to be a little bit too much of a coincidence to me. Am I over reacting, or should I start checking my credit rating? What else should I do? Please help, I'm really freaking out about this!

You're over-reacting. The name thing was a coincidence but you're on a roll with the identity-theft bit. Get a grip!0
