My childishness is showing through. I once knew a man named Richard Head. There are 69 of him apparently. I admit it, I chuckled.

You're just overreacting. No matter how hard you name to be spelled and how unique your name is, you need to know that you are not alone. It's just a name. You don't need to worry about it. Just move on.

they are all under 18 so not surprising really, but I doubt if their will ever be many of them very usual surname with uncommon first names.

  • As someone once said; I am the one and only

Only 1 of me. Then again there's only 6 with the same surname apparently.

However, i know that's wrong since there's actually 9 in the UK. I guess it might be right if they only include those over 18

My christian name is not unusual, but is a funny spelling- french/german in origin. My surname is also not unusual, but isn't common at all in my local area.

Still didn't stop my NI number being issued to a girl of exactly the same name and similar age 9 miles away- the fun I've had separating our tax records for years now! :) My dad reckons it was the name being announced in the papers- the other girl is a little younger than me.

I put my name into yournotme.com and it said 2! I know that I am unique because I have an unusual first name and my surname is double barrelled with a french and an english surname. I think I still come up on the electoral role in a city I used to live in 4 years ago so it must be that.

Anyway pipl only said one of me and that I was in the old city not my new place.

    My results :)
    Me: 1
    My surname: 1
Me with my future surname: 0 :D
    OH: 1
    Mum: 0
    Brother: 0
Dad: 122 (My parents bought a house from someone with the same name as my dad. That was fun sorting out the mail)
    Future MIL: 1

Apart from my dad, my family is unique. My mum and brother don't come up because they live abroad probably.
