My daughter doesnt exist but there are 35 of me:(
I had a weird experience at the eden project, we were getting in car and daughter wouldnt get in, I shouted willow get in the car exactly at the same time as a man next to me did to his daughter, we both just stared at each other then made a sharp exit:eek:
willow is more common these days but at that time is wasnt even really known (not in name books etc) it was rather spooky:o***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -

Yes, I was born here, my family had lived in various places in the Uk before ending up here - my father worked for ICI, and moved from plant to plant. Using the pipl.com link, it appears that my namesake is 7 or 8 years younger than me, so that could explain it. Apparently my first name is from my mother's favourite actress at the time, and as my mum had already 'frenchified' my sister's name by adding the extra -te at the end, she decided to do the same to mine. I have no idea why as it doesn't change the pronunciation in either language..:rotfl:
The medical thing does bother me, the lady in Sainsbury's did let slip that my namesake also has a digestive disorder, so we could potentially be seeing the same consultants.Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

wow i'm feeling rather common, there are 1549 of me in the uk!!!! There are 3 of me at my local gp surgery every time i call i have to go through date of birth, address etc to determine which one i am!
When i was in hospital having DD one of the 'other' mes was also in having a little boy!!!!!1 My mum came to visit and they directed her to the wrong person haha was hilarious! We have the same health visitor and go to the same play groups apparantly but never on same days and i've never met her yet!!! Odd huh!
My maiden name is less common and there are only 8 of those in uk!Emergency Fund goal - £1000/2000

I thought someone had stolen my identity when I went to pick up my library card and there was someone with the same name as me had already collected my library card, the only thing different was she lived at No1 Smith Street whereas I was in No1 Smith Place... even the postcode was almost identical, but the postcode she had was the one I had mistakenly thought was mine.
I phoned the police and a rather nice man called Michael douglas turned up ( I kid you not!!) He had looked into it and the girl did indeed have the same name but was living in the other address - they had her on record for something else ( never found out what that was though!!)
This was way back before people had pcs or mobile phones though, but I thought it very strange as back then you needed a council tax book to get a library card...
turns out it was one of my many cousins kids, I hadn't known we shared the same first name. One of the other cousins turned up at a wedding and my parents were confused to see me there as they knew I hadn't been invited - turned out it was this same girl - so she's also my doppleganger!!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Putting aside all jokey remarks about how unique (or not
) you may be..it's always worth keeping an eye on things and checking your credit references from time to time anyway. It's not unusual for things to come to light that were incorrect.
I don't expect you'll find any problems in connection with your namesake but it would do no harm to check just as a 'by the by' anyway.Herman - MP for all!

Should I ask for a full report or the cheaper option statutory I think it's called?Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

Apparently there are three of me in the UK, shame it doesn't allow middle names! So two of us live in the same area, wonder where the third one is?

I once got a BA e-ticket for return flights to IOM for my namesake. I could have turned up at the airport and boarded the flight as I had the ticket and she didn't. BA could see nothing wrong in that and even did it again.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
