You always get some green eyed monsters who are very judgmental so please read the subsequent comments & my response to them. By the way it's on page 3 so I'm now officially a page 3 girl...though fully clothed I hasten to add!

Subsequent to that I've been contacted by both Take a Break & Real People magazines who want to pay me for my story. I spoke to TAB first & as my first ever win was £500 with them the first time I'd ever entered online I thought it more suitable to choose them so they're coming to interview me tomorrow & paying me £400 too which will come in very useful as I have some very sad news, one of my poor little kittens was poisoned on Saturday & died a terrible death due to antifreeze poisoning & his twin brother is wandering round the house crying cos he can't find his playmate. It was heartbreaking enough to lose Rebel, especially at such an early age, he was so loveable & loved nothing more than to lie in my arms for hours. I have a large excess to pay for the insurance as well as paying for him to be put to sleep & cremated but it's even more heartbreaking not being able to explain to poor Oscar who's missing him so badly, just like me. I just hope that all the others will be ok as I still have 6 cats & there has been a spate of deliberate poisonings in the area over the last few months, I just don't understand how people can be so cruel & if I find them you'll next see me on the national news for murder as I'd love to make them drink antifreeze & put them through what they are doing to all these beautiful pets!

Sorry to hear about your kitten Liz If something like that happened to one of my furries I'd be just as devastated and I too don't understand anyone who could do that :mad::mad:

Didn't know you'd been on Deal :eek::eek: I'd love to do that but couldn't get the time off work even though a prize like you won is loads more than I get a year :eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitten, I'm a cat lover myself and know they can be very good therapy and company. We're having a lot of cats being poisoned where I live (in Kent), and they too are using antifreeze. I think 16 have been killed in the last few months. There are some wicked people about!!

So very sad to read about your kitten. There are some horrible people in the world, but I honestly believe that "what goes around, comes around," if that's any consolation. Perhaps you could adopt a new kitten from a rescue centre. I am sure that would make you and the other kitten smile a bit.
Why not contact your local press and ask them to run a story on the poisonings? That might help the culprit to realise the error of his/her ways....or spur the public on to catch the culprit!

Wow, how exciting! Great article and what a great reply that you wrote too, although there should be no need to defend yourself! As an aside, I am sure that I remember seeing your Deal or No Deal episode as I recognise you from the photo on the article! :beer:
