Decided to give up, I run a small business and whilst I'm not sure I'd have handled the affair as well (lol) as they have, I don't want to stress them or myself. They've e-mailed to confirm a refund and as long they action this I'm done with this deal and personally would suggest everyone else follows. We knew it was a gamble, it didn't pay off but we didn't lose anything.Consider anything only don't cry!0

Yeah, shame but I think this needs to be buried in the gone but was it any good now.
I finally got an email apology today as a reply to mine telling them what I was going to buy elsewhere.
We were all potential customers that have gone elsewhere, a 10% discount may have sealed the deal and got some future customers.
On a lighter note, a sat nav system arrived today that I had ordered and then cancelled when they rang to say I couldn't have the discount code I entered.
I have checked my cards, cos I can't remember what I used to pay and there hasn't been a debit.
If they ask for the money I will give it to them. In the meantime Yippee!!Just looking to save a few pennies here and there0 -

At the end of the day (& no matter how badly they've handled it) it was a pricing error...end of.
According to Cuisiunart it was a promotion and not an error, they are quite clear in their email to me and others that they set the price deliberately to get rid of old stock.
I've 'chilled' on this for a few days and am now going to join those who wish to take it further. Why? Because since taking my money they have ignored me and my reasonable requests for an explanation. If they had been upfront and said something along the lines of 'due to overwhelming demand we cannot fulfill all orders' I would be fine. But to be ignored then be bull*****ed just makes me want to teach them manners. So, how do we proceed?0 -

Good luck anyway, I can't be bothered to deal with these clowns any further.Reading this signature is a waste of time0 -

Just tested it against one of their other FP's and it doesn't work, stating it's a

I've had two emails from them today - one stating they couldn't supply the goods as it was a special offer, then after an email from me explaining there must be some confusion as I had a screen shot, another confirming despatch of my order! ??Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0

Let us know if you actually receive the processor0 -
I'm another one who received the email asking whether I wanted to cancel my order (as the food processor was a manufacturers offer).
Be warned I replied cancelling the order, received an email back saying the order was cancelled however today I received a £3.50 chopping board which I've been charged £8.50 for.
I emailed to say why has this been sent and got the following reply.Reference to your e-mail, I'm afraid according to our system the order 37262 hadn't been requested to be cancelled by yourself, so the other item that you ordered that was available was dispatched.
If you would not like the item you've received then we ask you to return it to us at: Unit 5a, Avon Gorge Industrial Estate, Portview Road, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 9LQ We will then refund you for the returned item and the p&p.
I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused Regards
Katherine
My original attitude was to shrug my shoulders but now  (Ok really a wee bit annoyed as I have to find time to take the parcel back to the post office!)
I've mailed back including all the emails which should prove that it had been cancelled but am expecting a 'too bad' response as customer service is obviously not a priority!
Another potential customer lost.
