  • Grow up. You post is just rubbish. No one believes that the Prepaid Thomas Cook card is "the way to go".

I avoid Thomas Cook and their products like the plague... with good reason.
So for you to recommend their product above all others either means that you work for them and are very loyal or you just haven't a clue.

    Rude? No. Honest? Yes. :)

My goodness - lots of opinions!!

ACTUALLY, I do believe Thomas Cook is the way to go. We sent our son away with an ADDITIONAL CARD, we kept the PRIMARY CARD here in the UK, and when he (surprisingly) ran out of money - I went into my local branch - spoke to the lovely helpful ladies in the BDC and they loaded it up with some more money for him to go an fritter - sorry spend! If it had've gotten stolen it is replaced within 24 hours so no worries there.

    Brilliant system!!:j

You're showing your lack or argument. Firstly you asked if i'd read of any suitcases being stolen so i googled it to find that it does happen; the age of the reports is irrelevant.

You claim that my argument is 'theoretical' when it's been backed up by the links provided and also by actually being alive. It's a simple well know fact that a locked case / box / whatever will be targeted as there is a reason it's locked.

i've been abroad plenty of times thank you, although seeing as i'm not American i won't claim to go on 'vacation' ten times a year.

and i agree that you are 'stilltheone' although it's debatable what 'the one' is.

Sorry your post is just rubbish. You argument is theoretical, as you don't have any personal experience and your samples are single reports taken from Google, three and six years old respectively.

Considering the millions of trips taken every year, for your theoretical argument to have any basis, we would need to see year on year figures of suitcases stolen from rooms.
You had provided one case in 2005 and another in 2008. that it just poor.

I don't mind having a debate, but having one with you feels like arguing with a child.

You can continue on your own unless you post some official statistics of people's suitcases being stolen from their rooms.

Otherwise, I will assume that you are just making it up in order to bolster your poorly thought out theory..

You believe that because you don't know any better. :)

You can the same with any of the other much better Prepaid Mastercards.

I don't believe that, I know that - that is our personal experience of the card - FACT - end of. Also Thomas Cook didn't charge commission for the card - TRAVELEX did. They may be MUCH BETTER in your opinion but we did not find any issues with Thomas Cook at all.

As I suggested, you didn't know any better. But now you do.

The Thomas Cook Travelex card is for people who don't know any better.

Read the forum rules. You're supposed to BE NICE TO OTHER MONEYSAVERS.

You're acting like a tool on this thread.

seriously?.. you really are a complete bell end who's just rambling on with yourself because you can't admit you're wrong.

How about you post me some official stats that suitcases haven't been stolen.... see if you can do that... mind you don't stumble over your clown shoes on the way.

I see there are a few Trolls on this thread. Everyone is welcome to join the debate, but at least try to post on-topic.

if you stopped your inane trolling we'd be able to stay on topic. If you can't handle the truth, fine... just stop banging on the keyboard like a monkey with a spoon, and go and take one of your ten 'vacations'

exactly you tool.. You've just as much chance of getting your official stats on that as official stats on suitcases stolen... because there are no official stats, just peoples own reports.

    if you...

Now your 'argument' has become a epic fail, you are resorting to abuse. That's a little bit sad, isn't it?

Adults can debate a point with resorting to abuse.

The fact is, you don't have any evidence to back up your claims that suitcases are being stolen from rooms. The fact that there is so little evidence bolsters my claim that it is highly unlikely to happen.

So if you have reached the limit of your intelligence, perhaps you should bow out, instead of resorting to crass abuse.
