Somebody will come on here any second and tell you "Chinese supermarkets" - however I've always had trouble finding it in any of the LOADS of Chinese supermarkets in my area, and when they do have it, it doesn't work out much cheaper than the ordinary supermarket

Rzl, I find that strange as my nearest Chinese supermarket charges £2.80 for 5lts of white vinegar and I was able to buy a big bag of bicarb for £1.80 IIRC and it was a 3KG bag. 0

My parents get me 5l of vinegar from Bookers, it's similar to costco you need to be a member but you can usually be tagged on or recommended by someone who is.0

I can't find the white vinegar in our Costco (Thurrock, Essex), all I can see in there is malt vinegar.
