I printed one that stored my name just for the hell of it
They are giving out confused info on copyable.
Although the bar-code and photograph themselves are 2D, when Payne Security did the spec for Northgate they specifically designed it for use with HHD's, since then they have made great play of the fact that it is impossible to copy even with top drawer industrial equipment.
Like I said .. .. confusing !Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. They can make them uncopiable whilst maintaining a readable barcode."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0 -

Hi there jetta_wales
If the picture that A Flock of Sheep showed us is correct ( and I have no reason to believe otherwise ) then NO you can't scan it through the window, because the barcode is on the back, as is your photo, just as the blue badge is right now, so I fail to see why some posters are happy about the photo been included ( as it as been there for quite a while now ) as you cannot see it, and only someone in authority as the power to look.

My mother is disabled and has a BB. She cannot even drive. She uses it in whoevers car she travels in as and when needed to park near wherever she is going. That is ALL the BBs should be for...... parking in designated spaces near each destination. NOT for getting FREE parking !!
Nobody gets free petrol, so why should anyone get free parking?
Councils which choose to give free disabled parking must have to charge paying punters extra to compensate to balance their books. There is no free lunch. The shortfall has to come from somewhere.
Being disabled doesn't mean that someone is financially poor. Plenty of disabled people drive round in Jags and BMWs etc.Never trust a financial institution.
