Just popping in to update my total. Did a big shop at A*ldi & A*sda on friday spending £34.14 & £ 54.44 respectively so a massive portion of my august budget gone already. Will try not to shop much now till I go away except for milk and am leaving OH and DD with plenty of meals for the week I am away.

Will be making mackerel fishcakes for tea tonight with some from the depths of my freezer to use up.

    NSD today.

  • Hi, i too have never done this. Can you please put me down for
    £80 for the month

This is for 1 adult and one 18 year old. This is for everything, excluding bills. I have enough cleaning stuff/toiletries food cupboard stuff to last a year, I have a stacked to the brim freezer and a fully stacked pantry with loads of bread mixes, etc (which i never use), so i really don't need to buy ANYTHING, except salad and fruit and maybe the odd bit of meat. I am ashamed to say, i don't even know wots at the back of my really deep cupboards. My challenge, apart from the money is to use ingredients we already have. Really looking forward to this challenge and good luck to everyone. p.s. how do i add a signature - would really love to put my debts down, so i can get serious about paying them off.
