Comments

Am not going to declare this month as I know I have come under the total but thats because we were away at family on holiday for a couple of weeks, so we didn't spend as much on groceries as normal (although I spent loads on other stuff like fuel and meals out etc..
Not sure if we will have anyone posting our challenge amount but thats ok, am going to go for £300 for September
Have already spent approx £68 tonight at Asda, which is a lot considering I didn't think I needed much...
Will update siggy tomorrow...
Off to read Setember so far...Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
I am learning, much better this month than ever before. I think it helped that I sorted out my cupboards and freezer. It made me realise that I buy things because we might need it and then we obviously dont because its still there years later, fast approaching its best before date. I actually looked at what we had and meal planned around them.
I bought a tin of squirty cream from Aldi and ate some of the stock of tinned fruit. I had quiet forgotten how nice it was, it reminded me of tea at my grans house many years ago. We were given tinned fruit and carnation milk and a slice of bread and butter!
I have not got a final total but it was less than £300 and I am happy with that.0 -
I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT AGAIN!!!!This was my second challenge and I came in at £1.06 under budget :j
My budget was £250 for five full weeks - 1st August to 4th Sept - for 2 adults.
It included toiletries, hair dye, cleaning stuff, vitamins & supplements, wild bird food, alcohol, THREE take-aways AND a really nice meal out, as well as all the usual food & drink. I've also got a pretty good stockpile of certain things now.
Keep going Naomim, we're all behind you. 10 days left!
Right, I'm heading over to the new thread to sort out a new budget...0
