    Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that the September 2011 Grocery Challenge is now up and running.

I apologise for the late start this month but zippy and I were trying to decide what to do in the absense of MRS MCAWBER who normally compiles everyone's budgets and totals. Unfortunately neither zippy or I are able to comit to it this month so if you feel that you could help out we would be very grateful if you would send one of us a pm.

Many thanks and good luck to everybody taking part in the challenge. :)

Just gone through the rest of my grocery receipts for August, and have spent another £8.41 in Mr T's, £20.33 in HB, £19.96 in Mr M's and £5.50 in i*eland, making a total spend for August of £107.82, I'm very pleased with this as I was convinced I must have gone over, as I've not kept a running total this month! Now heading over to the September thread.

    Morning all,

Seeing as my "month" runs from 15th to 15th I may end up being the only poster left for the August challenge! :rotfl:

So yesterday I spent £20.56 on cleaning stuff, toothbrushes etc in Wilko's. I've updated my sig and seem to be on target for budget.

Having said that, got a couple of daytrips with packed lunches planned and DS back to school next week to so going to have to top up all the packed lunch stuff.
