No, sorry Footie, this is another of those "NO! I didn't mean that" times! I know I should have knocked off the cruise bit, but I was referring to the

Why not, if you don't jakes-mum will, darn that woman! :undecided

No worries, Footie, your cruise is YOURS alone!

No doubt Cazzie's ok, just like a lot of others, either busy or on holiday maybe.

    Good for you, DorsetGirl.

Heard my DH go past me in the garden just now and heard the distinct sounds of CASH jingling! Made him turf out his pockets and 4 x 50p pieces looking at me pleading to be potted - so I did!! :j

Today I'm going to add in the £10 note that my mum swapped me for my 10 £1 that were heading for the pot on Friday. I'm ridiculously nervous about this for some reason but I don't really see why, what's the worst that could happen? When I think about it, the worst that could happen is that I lose £10!

And footie you're very safe with your cruise, I hate boats!! ever since I sailed to france with my parents as a child in gale force winds and thought a pint of chocolate milk before hand was a really good idea!! The result wasnt pretty :o

Ooooo I was zooming through sainsburys today on my scooter and something shiny caught my eye, thank goodness for my excellent brakes as I stopped right next to a lovely shiny 20p :D so into the pot its gone. I also think ive got some change in my purse aswell.

34p for pot 1 and another 50p for pot 2. Who knew this saving lark was so easy? Should have done it years ago!

    Hi

Have been a bit slack adding to the pot the last few months but now it's nearly September I'm going to throw all my efforts into putting as much into my pot as I can, I've also been adding 50p, the odd £1 coin and also my £2 coins and will do so from now on. I want to beat my target this year and hopefully get about £200+.

Pot is quite heavy though but still lots of room left.

Thanks DG, I'm envisioning it getting squashed under the coins I put in afterwards and then - due to a lack of sunlight- disintegrating into a pile of dust. I keep on forgetting that wallets and purses aren't the most sunlight exposed places in the world, but just to be on the safe side I think I'll stick it in an envelope first. I can laugh at my paranoia on the first of December :o
