A very good (and darned early) Thursday Morning one and all, I hope it's a good one for all and that yesterday was too.

You're most welcome to join us indigofire, it's lovely to have you with us and is never too late to join. biggrin.gif Have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much

A good start in your pot, indigofire!

Oh very well done, squeeeek that's perfect, nice size too!!! :D

Where've you been to Lost on holiday perhaps?? Good to see you anyway.

Oh dear Grantus, not to worry as another fresh day beckons. BTW, you won't have failed if you pick up the thread again, and don't forget, it's those that don't continue who fail. Have a good day and stay strong! BTW, we can't always put good amounts in, mine had to last all week as I only shop once a week. It's not a competition, be happy that you're saving no matter what the amounts! ;)

Welcome to SPC4, we love new members here :T Our fearless leader Sue-uu will pop in and give you your very own SPC number which is yours for the rest of eternity, but whatever you do DO NOT forget to put it into your sig as she then turns into a feisty little pickenease and nips at your ankles till you do :rotfl:

Oi! Watch it jakes-mum...you cheeky so and so you. :p I do not turn feisty or nip THAT quick....I wait a day at least! :rotfl: Otherwise good secretarial skills, thanks.

3p or whatever, Muppet_baby, it does indeed all add up.

Can your Mum's Birthday gift not wait until you open your pot at Christmas then, twirly?!!! :D Only joking. ;)

Some excellent amounts saved over the last couple of days folks, be happy and proud! :D :j

Take care all and stay safe and healthy - and dry - if you're lucky!

  • Today I spent £1 stocking up on Irn Bru. It was 2 for £1 on 1 litre bottles @ Mr A's so I bought a couple under the logic that I know I'll probably cave into buying a can tomorrow while I'm at work. I work in a city so they can cost anywhere between 70p and £1 so I thought I would be bargainous and predict my cravings. Now I'll have to lug the thing into work tomorrow!

Still got plenty of change though so I'll pop in another £1 into the pot, now I'm safe in the knowledge that it is in fact saving and not spending!
    Thank you competition posters!

    Hi Everyone,

It's been quite a spendy few days but I have added 85p to pot 1 and 50p to pot 2.

In other news, I lost another pound at fat club and won a £50 bar/restaurant voucher in a raffle.

Evening folks...not it's not it's morning already again. One of these days I'll catch up with myself...though possibly going in the wrong direction to me. Does that make sense? Possibly not. :undecided

    By the way, where'e Footie??

You're not saying anything in response, jakes-mum????? Now that really would be a first for you!!! :p

We don't usually start counting down until Octoberish DorsetGirl, but if you'd like to then there'll be no opposition, just don't mention the C word (as in Santa time :silenced:) as some won't be happy at all.

I can't believe it's September already next week, we've been cheated out of summer this year for sure.

Congratulations on another Lb lost, robed, and fantastic news about the £50 voucher win, well done you!!! :j

A GREAT day yesterday as our eldest DGD left school in July and today got fantastic grades in her GCSE results!!!! :T:j:T She takes after her Gran you know!!!! ;)

Have a fun day all and keep filling the pots.
