woo hoo managed to hold on to £2 x 2 coins until today and quickly stashed them in my pot before they disappeared!
Coins few and far between at the mo as using any change for kids swimming and other stuff. Had fun at Bristol Zoo yesterday with 2 kids free vouchers i had saved from ages ago,,passed a sign to inform us the zoo were aware that some of the prarie dogs had escaped and informing us please not to touch if we see one as they bite ;-) the kids were desperate to find one,,my eldest did and we all 'awwd and ahhd at his cute little escapee face!! predictably we stood and shouted, Alan, Alan' Alan' sooo much fun!!
Right off to put my plum jam into jars ;-) was given 3lb of plums from a friend
Life happens when you are busy making other plans ;)

Wooooooooohaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!! That's just brilliant e4rub though I did wonder if you were having problems.

Still, all sorted now, thanks a lot.

Hi there Kirsty, sounds as though you had another fun day out. Well done with the use of the vouchers, though thoughts of the prarie dogs on the prowl!!! At least you had the kiddies to protect you!!!! :rotfl:

Lucky you with the plums, that is a very good friend you have. Enjoy the rest of the holiday, kiddies too. :)

    HElloooooooooooo potters

Well ive been a very good OS MSE girl today, ive baked a strawberry crumble from the reduced strawbs I got from co-op yesterday (bit confused as it was a 400g punnet, me and DS had some with icecream last night and yet when I weighed them this morning to do the crumble I had 400g of strawberries

Also made 'castle and knights' for dinner which is basically a mash potato ring (the castle) with sausage in gravy in the middle (the kinghts) :rotfl:

Money . . . (wanders off to purse) . . . got some!! 93p in change popped in my pot :D

I think miss lily may have been 'helping' me, I can see what looks like a reciept inside the tin, so looks like shes been posting everything she can fit into my pot  . . . well it will be interesting come 1st dec :rotfl:

  • A NSD for me mostly today, I'm so tempted to pop a cheeky £1 into the pot. Sort of defeats the purpose of a NSD but it'll only be spent tomorrow if I don't save it!
    Thank you competition posters!

but isn't £1 into the pot saving and not spending?! in my opinion you get bonus points for saving on a nsd :p
