This thread certainly has brought out the ugly/nasty side of some people, wishing someone was overcharged and has no money left, what's that all about ????

A nice offer, trashed by miscommunication behind the scenes. Again.
Not MSE's fault, not Martin's fault, but if the Grocer rates Martin higher than Leahy, surely a few other web sales wiseguys can read the tealeaves?!
Ah well. The joy of free offers carries us all astray sometimes.

Could we go back to being polite to each other again, please?

I guess I'm one of the lucky few. I have a delivery booked for this evening and placed my order Thursday after the code came through the crowdity app. I've not edited the order so all being well will only be charged £24. I've not ordered booze, fags or stamps just the boring things that bump the weekly food shop up. Nothing but washing powder, washing up liquids, kitchen sprays etc. Yes it was a bargain, but for me, a flaming boring one lol
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j

I just got my first ocado marketing email

"We noticed you haven't placed your first order yet, so we just thought we’d check back to see how you’re getting on."

Just typing out a nice reply for them :)

I think perhaps this thread should be moved to the praise, vent, warnings as the deal has now ended, I also feel that (please don't flame me) but SOME are a little ott over this now, it's £20, if this deal had not come up we would be no better or worse off. You win some you loose some.

I think this thread should continue for the many people who ordered deliveries for the coming weeks. They may need advice from those that received it - and need to be warned not to edit their orders.

Those who did not manage to get an order, should vent here:-

I'm fairly certain crowdity = quidco = poor customer service.
    Agreed.
My patients with quidco has run out now and I will not give them the benefit of the doubt because of the Tesco life insurance fiasco when they a..Ocado and Crodity will get a second chance.
  • My shopping is being delivered tonight but one item was unavailable and it's taken me below the £40 minimum spend, does anyone know whether they will still give £20 off? If not then it's no loss as I bought items I would of bought anyways.

All this sorry mess means now is that i won't be spending any money with Ocado :) Would have been nice to have gotten the offer as i need to do the weekly shop but i'll just carry on shopping at my local Morrisons instead.
