Andreas is posing as a regular customer as well!0 -

I'm fairly certain crowdity = quidco = poor customer service.0 -
OH MY GOD
W..T...F
I'm so annoyed at myself but I've been riveted to this for the past 20 minutes.
I mean, what weird parallel universe did I drop into when I started reading this thread???
OK, I signed up to Crowdity after reading Martin's email. Who wouldn't?!
I got the Crowdity apology today and like many of you was properly !!!!!! off.
I'm not on the breadline but £20 for £40 worth of shopping is pretty nice isn't it?
Yes, I'm pretty ticked off cos I was looking forward to buying 32 bottles of Westons cider which was reduced anyway, but what's really narked me off is that I've just wasted 20 minutes reading this repetitive tosh and then 10 minutes writing this post because I cannot BELIEVE some of the things I've read on this thread and need to get my air out.
Its kind of overtaken my annoyance at those two ridiculous companies.
Some of you people are TOTALLY CUCKOO - you know that don't you? How many of you have been sat at your computers all day wasting your time whinging? Go and play with your kids, or walk your dog, or go for a run or go to work for a couple of hours and earn £20
How you seen the posts who intimate that they are more entitled to this Crowdity-Ocado-Coupon-Kode (did I spell that wrong?) because they:
i) have babies and want to buy nappies
ii) dont have babies and want to buy wine but feel guilty about that and have to justify themselves
iii) dont earn enough to buy a weekly shop and need to feed their family
iv) do earn enough to buy a weekly shop but want to treat themselves some Pu pudding
v) are having a birthday?!
vi) have been members of MSE since before the internet was invented
vii) have been shopping with Ocado for years
viii) are "genuine" users who didn't "abuse" the offer - what does that even mean???? When does an offer move from being genuinely exploited to being abused? And who decides that? You??
OH MY GOD! SERIOUSLY?!!!!
And those of you who burbled on about unsubscribing from whatever because of marketing this or that.
Don't waste your time! Big Brother is already watching you and knows everything about you. One soon-to-be in administration company is just one of countless who have already bought and sold your information many times over without you knowing it. The only way around this is to do what I do every 36 months - fake my own death and create a new identity.
Guys, stop wasting your energy and go watch the Krypton Factor or something. Businesses simply do not care unless it affects their bottom line. Its a financial calculation. Virtual whinging from a relative handful of irate bargain hunters isn't going to lose them any money. It might do for that silly Crowdity company but frankly they're clearly so stupid they oughtn't be still in business.
I've worked for big companies and now own and run two companies myself. Literally EVERYTHING can be and is condensed down to the impact it will have on the bottom line.
Right after half an hour of cringing at these posts I now need some pliers to uncurl my toes and a vigourous massage to unclench my buttcheeks.
But you've all been fabulously entertaining and hilarious. :rotfl:
Thank you nutters! :money:

Do you REALLY fake your own death every 36 months and then create a new identity?.... And WE'RE the nutters! lol
My point of view , which is what a forum is for? , is ;
I don't want anything to do with an unscrupulous company or do business with them and exploiting a deal by using a code not intended for them is abusing the code...0 -

Waitrose didn't have a delivery service and presumably didn't want to focus on developing one when internet supermarket shopping took off. Ocado saw a business opportunity and negotiated the rights to deliver Waitrose goods for a while. In the M25 region those rights expire at the end of June, so Waitrose Deliver will be able to operate in the M25 region from then. I think Waitrose has been able to deliver in the rest of the country for a while now, but I don't know what agreement Waitrose had with Ocado for the rest of the country. Perhaps Ocado will be required to gradually phase out Waitrose goods and get their own brands, I don't know.
Weirdly we can get both Ocado and Waitrose deliveries out here in South Wales. It's very odd! The Ocado side only started in Feb but Waitrose were delivering in the area from early last year. I never rteally understand it but who knows.Never give up the dream! :beer:0 -
Just waiting on my shopping being delivered. TBH thought this offer was too good to be true... seems for most it is :-(0

I'm just cutting and pasting what I said above, and I feel the urge to post it again, as it has been playing on my mind (and worrying me) just how much some people seem to be getting so annoyed about what's happened. Please please remember we are only on this planet for a limited amount of time; please don't waste that time worrying about a £20 quid voucher you almost got for nothing, but didn't get. If you are worried about that so very much, please look at the link I've posted below, and then think about your priorites.
What I wrote earlier:
I'm sure I'm not saying anything new, but
1) unless you've actually lost money, and no-one has, it's really not worth worrying about. I'm surprised by how much righteous anger there seems to be on this forum.
If you want to get angry about something, get angry about this:
http://thingsifeelstronglyabout.blog...hind-bars.html
2) yes, my son is now eight days old (he's so cute by the way!!!) and, yes, we're a bit hard up right now, and yes we would have liked to buy some cheap nappies too, but hey, that doesn't give me the right to get more angry about this deal being pulled then someone who wants to buy loads of chocolate and some foie gras0 -

Welcome to MSE. I have just got up after a bad night as I have a trapped nerve in my neck. Was feeling unwell and about to take some painkillers. However after reading your post I dont need them as I have had a good laugh and feel much better. I think you put the whole thing in context. I signed up for me and my Mum but had not got round to ordering. But oh well that's life. I have had nearly 3 months free ( or nearly free) shopping thanks to DTD at Tesco' s anyway so who cares. Thanks again for cheering me up and welcome again.0
