Crowdity should change their slogan.
How about "You never get a second chance to make a first impression"0 -

In the M25 region those rights expire at the end of June, so Waitrose Deliver will be able to operate in the M25 region from then. I think Waitrose has been able to deliver in the rest of the country for a while now, but I don't know what agreement Waitrose had with Ocado for the rest of the country. Perhaps Ocado will be required to gradually phase out Waitrose goods and get their own brands, I don't know.MorrisonsEmployee wrote: »I actually feel sorry for Ocado - They have spent years building up a loss making business and this could be the final nail in the coffin especially as Waitrose Deliver are about to 'steal' their top spending/most profitable customers.
Thanks
So i assume Ocado take a cut of the sales and/or the delivery fee -
but Waitrose have now seen £ signs and want all this to themselves.
I will defo use Ocado again, to stock up on essentials that are the same price or thereabouts as i usually pay.0 -

Crowdity come away from this unmarked - They are a new company that people have little regard for unlike Ocado who are an established brand and this will/has caused then real brand damage.
Crowdity got this wrong for Ocado on so many levels - Allowing 30,000+ people to sign up, Not having unique codes etc, both of wgich if managed would have prevented this fiasco.
Ocado's business model is very flimsy, I doubt they'll be around in 5 years time.0 -
OMG how disappointing - I was a big fan of Crowdity but have just noticed on their Facebook page that the SALES MANAGER has posted a complementary comment about Crowdity POSING AS A REGULAR CUSTOMER
How UNETHICAL and sorry , I'm not a fan any more if this is the kind of thing they do!!!0 -

Have just left Crowdity ... nothing to do with the Ocado deal but if to restore faith their staff are posting complementary comments on their Facebook wall posing as real customers then , no , I don't want to know the company at all!0

Andreas Andreou has just commented as well - though he is the Sales Director at Quidco - are they implicated in this as well - are they getting their 'team' to post positive comments on Facebook - PR disaster coming.0
