    Sorry agree with dirtysexymoney.

If people had not abused this offer (at least one post claimed to have signed up 4 family members for the offer) then the people who honestly wanted to use it would have had a much better chance of doing so.

And when your on a budget, £40 of shopping can last a long time, so saving £20 off it makes a massive difference, rather than stocking up on the "wine lake!"

Which part of it? I asked people to be nice to each other!
I take it you are one that didn't get their order either then as well? It's not just you, you know? ......

I just didn't think that the other comment was uncalled for.

If people are aware that lots of people have missed out on this, then it's not exactly polite to point out that they have abused the offer to the detriment of others, so I didn't see that as a nasty comment.

I think it's perfectly fair to vent a little bit when people have been planning to use this voucher as a way of making sure families are fed, rather than taking the mick, like many of here have.

I'm not that bothered about missing the offer, I'm sure that there will be more from ocado soon enough.

But I also have a little more sympathy for someone that missed the offer (like you?) than people who have got it more than once.

This year our monthly salary is dropping by £120 - you just have to build a bridge and get over it and live on whatever is in the bank at the start of each month.

How many bottles constitute a wine lake? I think I ordered enough wine to make a wine puddle

  • I called Ocado to see what they had to say and they said that Crowdity were not meant to give out the code so many times and that information given by MSE was incorrect (not sure which bit was meant to be incorrect). They have offered 20% off a spend of £40 and free delivery. They were very apologetic. I am planning to remove myself from Crowdity as the voucher was from them not Ocado, so they are the ones at fault. Shame they have to get their subscriptions by offering deals they cannot fulfil.

well i just received my order....uht milk, stamps, free souffles and chocolate. £20 deducted too.

i placed my order yesterday afternoon and added the coupons later without problems. so for those pondering and worrying about their order; don't edit it. just keep it as it is and you should get charged the correct amount.

keep getting texts about my delivery tomorrow, saying how long I have left to amend my order - DO NOT AMEND ORDER - YOU WILL LOSE YOUR VOUCHER!!!

same here. The Occado website clearly states that vouchers will not be valid if orders are edited. Think that's a little out of order but at least we know.

Very honourable of you freeoffers, but I am not ashamed. I haven't done anything against the t&c's. I wouldn't say greedy either as the items I ordered I need and use. If companies are too short minded to see through there offers and promos then I for one intend to take full advantage. :j

I guess that's one way of looking at it. There's no doubt this should have been handed better so this type of thing couldn't happen. End of the day they are not going to honour 30,000 codes no matter what pressure MSE tries to apply. The best that can happen is that codes are issued separately to those first 2,000 who might have missed out.

Even if I was succseful in this redemption, I wouldn't use this website and I think that all those who were succesful should do the same.
Thanks but i'll make up my own mind, i won't be a sheep. If they have decent offers and products I like, then I will buy from them. You make your mind up and I'll do the same!
