£20 off £40 Ocado

The T&Cs clearly state only one voucher per customer and only one voucher to be used per delivery address, so if this issue is because of "abuse" then why did Ocado allow the "abuse" rather than stop it for contravening T&Cs, thus allowing more genuine people to use it just once.
Pretty pathetic if you ask me.I don't want to achieve immortality through my work, I want to achieve it through not dying0 -

............
thanks for that i did spend 10 minutes going through the last pages to catch up and didnt see thatsorry to all those who missed out
after checking crowditys fb page though im sure there is only so much bad attention they can take before they do something..
the code really should of been unique to each e mail address. not sure how people are doing multiple orders though unless theyre ordering for other family members?Who would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?

What a scam, just received the email from Crowdity. Seems like they gave the same voucher code to everyone, and so even people who didn't register to the deal could have enjoyed.
How is it possible vouchers not valid if they gave you time till 30th June to order?
In the meantime both Ocado and Crowdity got tens of thousands of potential clients. Definitely not going to use both websites!!!0 -
Hmmm, just received an apology from Crowdity:
Ocado Apology
"Ocado were only able to offer a limited number of these vouchers.Due to the success of the offer and the widespread distribution of the offer on other forums, this number was exceeded on the first day, rather than on 30th June as originally anticipated. As such, no new redemptions of the voucher can be accepted after 23rd June.Other acquisition offers are available and will be available in the future.Sorry for any disappointment this may cause."
Team Crowdity would also like to echo Ocados appology. We are all deeply upset about the whole situation and can't explain to you how sorry we are.
Sincere Apologies
The Crowdity team

Group buying website Crowdity has just suffered a huge blow to its already mammoth quest to take on market leader Groupon, at the hands of Waitrose delivery service Ocado.
Crowdity
The whole idea of group buying is based on a simple principle, described by Crowdity’s own CEO : “We bring people together to buy, meaning we can go to businesses and negotiate a large discount that you wouldn’t be able to get alone.”
Sounds great doesn’t it? Well that’s exactly what thousands of new customers thought when they came across Crowdity’s Ocado deal, offering £40 worth of grocery shopping for the price of £20. The offer, to be registered for on 22nd June and redeemed by 30th June, was part of Ocado’s current scheme to try and attract new business (the offer isn’t available to incumbent customers).
Too Successful?
Clearly Crowdity and Ocado weren’t prepared for the response their offer was to receive.

Ocado 0845 399 1122 -01707 228000 Main switchboard - ask for Customer services; transfers to Cork, Eire (& jumps the queue!)
Tel no from say no to 0870 for anyone wanting their details taking off their database. I'm 11th in the queue, thought it would be more;)
I have just been taken off the mailing list. If I do receive anything from them I will bounce it straight back;)Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

However it could be rectified if they could be bothered. With very, mashall ward etc, if you use a code you weren't entitled to they charged you later. If Ocado had any decency they would do this and only honour the code for people who genuinely recieved one through crowdity.0

Ocado is on Facebook - I would suggest to also vent your frustration there.0
