  • Gah! Ordered 4 boxes of nappies last night to be delivered here and another order to my dads. Wanted to place another couple of orders and get stocked up while I can but it was late last night.... I should learn my lesson and never put off deals that can be done today. Onwards and upwards.

The source of the leak was also Ocado - who put the code on their website a day early.

I don't always act on codes on here - unless i can verify them. This page was good enough for me - and is why i proceeded to order a day early.

so bad organisation all around then. :(

Me too! - HUGE loss of credibility for both companies - I feel robbed - even though I didn't part with any money.:mad::mad: This mess doesn't speak well for the management of an established company like Waitrose/Ocado and maybe MSE should highlight it next week.

I agree! They have got LOADS of publicity out of it yet pull out the voucher early. Both companies have dropped HUGELY in my estimations and although we didnt lose any money I still think this is out of order!! :(

Rubbish huh, still they got their bulging marketing database out of it.

    They are laughing.

Can we cause a real nuisance for both companies by requesting that all our details are removed from their databases and request confirmation of this etc?

I agree... we should have the right for this to happen. At least it will cause them some hassel and they might think twice before deciding to pull an offer before it's advertised date! :(

Any news from the MSE Team as to what is happening, or are we still waiting to find out?

I can't pretend I’m not disappointed about the voucher being pulled. I was going to place my order over the weekend for delivery early next week.

Having never used Ocado OR visited a Waitrose I was using this opportunity as a genuine chance to try them out and see what the food and service was like.

If it was decent they would have had a permanent new customer in me and therefore would have made their £20 back in no time.

So even though it’s a shame i didn’t get the opportunity to try them, ultimately its THIER loss because they have now lost all these potential new customers such as myself.

They will also get a lot of new customers as well though, as many have used their £20.00 vouchers
