I was one of the first 50 people to signup to the voucher at 12.00am on Tuesday (or whenever it was that it came out).
I didn't have time to use the voucher.
There are plenty of questions to be answered:
1. How is it possible for those who lawfully obtained their voucher to be denied it?
2. Why was it possible for anyone to use a voucher not obtained through the official Crowdify source?
3. If it was possible to obtain the voucher through third parties why wanst a central registration point established so the total number of vouchers distributed known so the offer could be withdrawn at any time (not disenfranchising those who already had legtimately obtained a voucher)
4. How many disenfranchised new users have both Crowidify and Ocado gained at no cost, and with considerable publicity?
5. Will the bad publicity outway the value of the signups the sites obtained?
6. Will Crowdify survive the loss of credability given there are so many alternative voucher websites?
The whole episode stinks... I hope both companies get flamed accordingly and there is an avalanche of ASA complaints.
After MSE emailed millions of people earlier this week -- invaluable free publicity for a fledgling website -- I hope that MSE make an investigation of this incident ... it undermines the credability of all concerned.0 -
I'm sure I'm not saying anything new, but
1) unless you've actually lost money, and no-one has, it's really not worth worrying about. I'm surprised by how much righteous anger there seems to be on this forum.
If you want to get angry about something, get angry about this:

2) yes, my son is now eight days old (he's so cute by the way!!!) and, yes, we're a bit hard up right now, and yes we would have liked to buy some cheap nappies too, but hey, that doesn't give me the right to get more angry about this deal being pulled then someone who wants to buy loads of chocolate and some foie gras0 -
Sinbad i see what you are saying BUT we are all different and are allowed to feel what we feel. all the best!QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D0

As far as I'm concerned a deal is a deal wether i paid for it or if it was offered to me for free. Deals should be honoured regardless of the cost to me. Just because i didn't lose money does'nt make me feel any less disgruntled. I signed up in good faith for something which i am not going to receive.... another point to add is that time is money and i wasted my time with this!0

Yes, you will get charged the amount confirmed in the order confirmation that was emailed back to you. DON'T make any changes to your order though :j0 -
I've just deleted the Crowdity iPhone App and left them a review telling them exactly what I think of this 'offer'. Unfortunately, you have to rate the app at least 1 star to get it accepted.
Interestingly, there have been five reviews now, but you can't read them - just see the average star rating. Maybe there's an waiting period before the reviews show up.
But it's another way of showing our disapproval of this whole sorry saga.0 -
