Just got email.
Ocado Apology
"Ocado were only able to offer a limited number of these vouchers. Due to the success of the offer and the widespread distribution of the offer on other forums, this number was exceeded on the first day, rather than on 30th June as originally anticipated. As such, no new redemptions of the voucher can be accepted after 23rd June. Other acquisition offers are available and will be available in the future. Sorry for any disappointment this may cause."
Team Crowdity would also like to echo Ocados appology. We are all deeply upset about the whole situation and can't explain to you how sorry we are.
Sincere Apologies

Me too! - HUGE loss of credibility for both companies - I feel robbed - even though I didn't part with any money.:mad::mad: This mess doesn't speak well for the management of an established company like Waitrose/Ocado and maybe MSE should highlight it next week.0 -
Ocado - shame on you - more like Ocrapo0

I placed an order yesterday that came to under £25 including delivery and the crowdity voucher and I've chosen for it to be delivered next week.
Can anyone tell me whether I will be affected i.e. my order could now cost £45? (I read that it says edited orders may be affected but I haven't and shouldn't be changing it).
Thanks for the help!

I am in the same boat as you but not really worrying as I cant see theres anyway they can charge you the full amount having already accepted the voucher.
They would be opening a whole new can of worms.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
I registered at 9am and placed an order last night for delivery Wednesday, I've had the email about not accepting the voucher anymore, I'm unsure whether it will be accepted for Wednesday's order or not but I'm sure it'll all become clear before then. If it's going to be removed from my order I'll just cancel.
All it cost me was a bit of time so I'm not going to get stressed if I have to cancel the order, it won't have cost me any real cash. Like all grabbits some you get, some you don't (even if you think you have)0 -
Beware if you have already placed your orderand not received it yet ***DO NOT AMEND YOUR ORDER***
Taken from the OCADO website :-
Crowdity voucher VOU0837678 has now expiredThe limited number of these vouchers we could redeem has now run out, as such the £20 off £40 Crowdity voucher is no longer valid for any new order placed or existing order edited. We apologise for any disappointment.

Can we cause a real nuisance for both companies by requesting that all our details are removed from their databases and request confirmation of this etc?TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0

for some who registered at the beginning of the offer the code was also shown instantly - i know i got mine instantly on screen and i registered in the early hours of the morning...... it seems it then changed as even i could not access it a couple of hours later..... so i feel that was the start of the problems as that would have been the likely source of the "leaks"... but those who got the code shown to them instantly and used it are not necessarily those who "spoilt it" as they were given the code straight away so used it?
The source of the leak was also Ocado - who put the code on their website a day early.

I don't always act on codes on here - unless i can verify them. This page was good enough for me - and is why i proceeded to order a day early.0 -
How annoying.
I had also got one of these vouchers, but wasn't planning on doing a shop until the weekend.
Looks like i'll just stick with Tesco online and never ever Ocado or Crowdity.
Chances the pair of them.0
