    UPDATE 24 JUNE 10.30am.

Ocado has informed us the code has been pulled early due to huge demand. The original terms of the offer stated the code could be used until 30 June and there was no limit to the number of codes available. We are speaking to Ocado and Crowdity to see if the offer can be honoured. We will update you here asap.

Thanks. I had also wanted to do just one order and save a bit of money, was actually keen to try them anyway! I agree that as ever some greedy people abuse the system and spoil it for the rest of us

What a shame, i also wanted to use it this morning, i filled my trolley last night but wanted to make sure i hadn't forgot anything, i was only ordering food, stuff we use every week, i was even thinking how handy this online shopping might be as i can add thing's to my trolley over the week, meaning, i don't forget things like i often do when going into a shop, oh well i do hope they will honour it still, and shame some got a bit greedy, was just one code per house hold wasn't it !!
oh well of to Aldi later then for me........................

I can't stop laughing at those who say the people who used it early ruined it.

The people who used it early got cheap delivery and now have the items in their cupboards. Those who waited got ripped off on delivery or their voucher cancelled. Its a good job i ordered early - because i still have not receieved my code from Crowdiy and it never appeared in my account - depsite being one of the first to sign up.

The reason people got the code early is because OCADO leaked it early and the codes were not unique. The 30,000 people given the code would still have caused this to be pulled early - as clearly they underestimated the demand.

Those who got in early did the right thing.

just had my order delivered. and im extremely pleased i got bits that i needed for the week... ( i price matched it with tesco and it would of cost me £40, same price as ocado ) ... but the service was brilliant the guy brung it in for me... which is a complete god send today as i can barely walk or stand up.. and the items do look great! .. got a voucher for a free GU chocolate pots for next order.. and £15 off for a friend.

the COUpons ( as its a COU code) does clearly state "each coupon can only be redeemed once, on a single unit of the relevant product, additional units will be charged at the usual price, this coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any offer or promotion!"

so im guessing it would of been a big no no.. to choccys and the £20 off.. so im glad i didnt do that.

hope they do sort out this offer.. as my mum not got around to doing her shop yet.

Just checked my mums order and the free chocolates have been substituted for the organic ones. However, the price shown as not changed.

I'm sure i was told the other day that Ocado do not charge extra for substitutions. Can anyone confirm this?

    Crowdity's status on FB:

‎"Ocado were only able to offer a limited number of these vouchers. Due to the success of the offer and the widespread distribution of the offer on other forums, this number was exceeded on the first day, rather than on 30th June as originally anticipated. As such, no new redemptions of the voucher can be accepted after 23rd June. Sorry for any disappointment this may cause."

The problem they'd now have is (as it's the same code for everyone) they would now have unlimited liabilty for the amount of people who can use it. They wouldn't be limited to 30,000 it could be 300,000 i.e. not just those who registered with Crowdity, who appear to be responsible for this balls up. Anyway it's going to create massive bad publicity for both Companies who IMHO have well and truly shot themseves in the foot!
