Order arrived last night, a few hours earlier than the scheduled delivery slot, and everything I ordered I got. Happy! Thanks Ocado.

"Team Crowdity would also like to echo Ocados appology"

    What's an appology??
  • Hmmmm, when I wasn't successful on the Orange prepaid mastercard offer yesterday, I consoled myself with the thought that at least as a longstanding Crowdity subscriber I'd got a good deal with the opportunity to try out Ocado. I'd always wanted to give them a go and this seemed like the perfect incentive. However, due to irritating little things like work getting in the way I wasn't able to set up my order yesterday - thought that would be a job for the weekend, since the voucher was valid until the end of the month, no rush. Just checked my e-mail this lunchtime to discover that this is obviously my week for disappointment (Hate to think what's next ). Shan't be trying Ocado now. Haven't decided about Crowdity yet. Just very surprised that neither of them seem to have thought this deal through very well.

That's one of their tweets from 2 days ago:
the Ocado voucher codes will be out shortly, hold tight. if it is urgent, drop us an email to oi@crowdity.com

Clearly can be used when making a complaint to the ASA. Crowdity mislead all customers, because they pretended it will be different CODES, while they gave the same code to everyone. If the codes were unique , this mess would have been prevented. But I think it was a cold calculated marketing trick, to attract people to both websites.
  • My first experience of Crowdity obviously has not been a good one. Registered for the Ocado offer in good faith, thinking that only those people who were notified of the code could take the offer, little did I know.

Immediately i was advised of the code I COULD NOT get on the website to register.

I have never used Crowdity or Ocado, it was going to be a good learning point for me to use both and see the service offered, what a lesson I have learnt.

Ooh very annoyed now I've read this thread, I was looking forward to taking the time tomorrow to check my shopping list and place an order. I feel very annoyed to have registered with a company (and given them my details) for absolutely nothing.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
