Still no sign of the coat for me icon9.gif

3 emails to M & S customer services have been ignored so have just emailed Trading Standards....

At last...a reply from M & S!!! Praps cos I mentioned contacting Trading Standards to them  Does this look hopeful now???

Thanks for your email regarding order *********.

I'm emailing you to advise the product details for the coat T58 1773 have been incorrectly set up on our website.

As a result of this you may receive a t-shirt instead. I am pleased to tell you, we will be correcting this and will be sending out the coat to you at no extra cost within the next few weeks.

You may keep the t-shirt with our compliments. If you have an queries please email us at customer.care@marks-and-spencer.com

Kind Regards

• Dont get excited, I had that email weeks ago and still no coat. Had the awful t-shirts and been charged for them but no coat, when I emailed them they deny all knowledge of them. Its driving me mad now !
• I am now also receiving the same from them pratically denying my original order. They've now passed my file over to a 'manager' but not getting too excited - what a palava!

I won't let this one drop though and I have said that various 'friends' of mine have been offered gift vouchers as an alternative so will see what they come back with next.
• I am having a daily arguament with them now. The trouble is that different people reply to the emails everytime so you never get to the same person. They are now saying the coats will be delivered on 22nd Jan - I ordered them on the 19th December and they have taken the money. I am getting very fed up with it.
• Redhead, ask for your emails to be passed to a manager, they have now set a precedent with other MSE's so they surely can't wriggle out of it i.e. everyone should be treated fairly/the same.

I am still waiting for a Manager to respond and when I hear something I will let you know - fingers' crossed

But yeah, its getting very tiresome now!!

I ordered the coat but have just received an e-mail to say part of the order has been cancelled, called and was told that the T Shirt is now out of stock (shame)! The coat will be sent within the next couple of days and my account has been refunded with £ 12.95.
• This point ermeinded me about my order, so I replied to my email saying "sorry it isnt a coat its a t-shirt, but you can have the t-shirt and the coat as its our fault".
Anyways I got a reply saying "sorry we have no record of your order can you furnish us with a ref number". So I did this very thing and sent them my confirmation email, to which they responded within 5 minutes saying "not a problem sorry about the hold up, here is a new ref num and order number and the coat should be with you on the 22nd jan, please accept our appologies"

Already received the naff t-shirt.

I guess I can just take the t-shirt and the coat to an M+S shop and ask for a refund yes, even if they only give me M_+S vouchers instead the cash?

I have done all that and am just being fobbed off - I have been told today that the coats are in stock and will delivered on 22nd jan - then I have just been told they are out of stock. No-one seems to know what they are doing.
