well as i posted earlier today got the t-shirt but no coat so emailed got the standard reply being dealt with but then this afternoon got the email below
Dear Michele,

I am pleased to inform you that the coat you have ordered will be delivered to
you shortly. We are currently out of stock of this item but can assure you that
we are trying our best to have it delivered asap.
I am sorry for any inconvenience.

DH checked with out bank, and we have only paid £12.75.
Personally, I like the coat, but it's not really much use for the winter. I think it will be swapped for something a bit warmer.0 -

I have looked in to your order and can confirm that delivery of this item is delayed due to the item being low in stock, as you are aware we had a website error with regards to this particular item and received quite a high volume of the same order. You can expect to receive the item within the next 4-7 days.

Hopefully this means that we'll definitely be receiving our coats, and thanks for giving me the shove to email them to find out for myself - I feel much better now.

3 emails to M & S customer services have been ignored so have just emailed Trading Standards....Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly!0 -
I have been emailing constantly for about a week. Got my t-shirts yesterday and just emailed asking when my coats were being dispatched. Then they emailed back saying there were no coats on the order. So I emailed back and went mental and threatened going to trading standards and then got this back
'I'm really sorry to have to tell you that the coats that you have ordered are
now out of stock.
I have spoken to my manager who has advised me to offer you gift vouchers to the
value of the coats, can you please let us know if this will be acceptable.'
But the funny thing is that on the website the coats are now showing back in stock. Oh well, didnt really like it anyway. £158 of vouchers will get me a lovely coat !0 -

Received my Coat and Tshirt today, they do not fit and as others have said, very thin coat.
I would like to return to store, how do I do that? Do I just take invoice and items to store, thanks in advance.0
