HDNL do not own DHL,they took on a part of DHL's business0

You may well be correct but they took on the bit that bothers me.

I've attempted to use these bunch of morons not realising just how bad they are, now I know. Parcel was booked to be collected today, I've been here all day, gravel drive, no vehicle on it at any time, no knock on door or bell rung and yet he managed to leave a card through the door saying I'd missed him. I just stared at it in complete horror as I'd to that point been in all day waiting for him, didnt even risk vaccuming in case I didnt hear him. What kind of idiots do they have working for them? Why has Amazon given them their business? and how on earth do they stay in business with so many complaints? The little git better knock tomorrow or they are really going to get it.0

I will not purchase something if its likely to be delivered by this bunch of fools. I think they must be trained to ignor any instructions, also to not to knock or use a door bell, or leave any form of communication.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

I agree, the most recent was their insisting the parcel had been left on my property. I wrote back to the place I had ordered from and suggested they ask how he managed to get in a locked security door when I am the only person in during the day, to presumably leave it on a stairwell and think it was on 'my' property and safe and then for someone else to get in the security doors without buzzing me to get let in to steal it and escape unnoticed!
I got replacement goods sent by Parcelforce.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
They are truly utterly useless, I've been trying to get an item collected by them for months - they turn up a day or two after the scheduled collection date and then leave a card claiming no-one is in, even though there is someone here 24 hours a day. It's very difficult to get through to a live person on their phoneline, and even when you do the chimps don't seem to know anything and just blame the local couriers, saying they can't do anything about it.
They've been awful for deliveries too, notorious for doing their rounds without actually carrying any of the parcels and just putting cards through everyone's doors. I've witnessed this happening myself.
Don't know why retailers use them, they may be cheap but it must be costing them a lot of goodwill from disgruntled customers.poppy100 -

however on the flipside here,i have never had a problem with them
deliveries are always prompt and often the day before they are due(according to Amazon)
the driver will even make a 2nd attempt if we are not in,however i know the driver lives fairly local to us0
