  • HDNL is worse than any other courier I have experienced. Despite having received some parcels on time, the rate of failure of others just turns it into an endeavour to be avoided at all costs.

    - No delivery on a Saturday.
    - Parcels are just left in front of the door, in the open at times.
    - Delivery dates are changed but no one turnes up. Even worse, their website claimes that the parcel has been returned to the depot.
    - Their reply to why the parcel has not been delievered is that apparently no one could receive the parcel. This is blatantly not true .

    Do not use this service!

Guys I'm stuck! HDNL left my parcel in a "safe place on my front door". I live in an open block of flats, what do I do? Contact the seller?? :(

Yes, always. You have a contract with the seller. It s up to them to deal with the courier.
  • Wow. I'm really surprised reading this thread. I had no idea they had a bad reputation. My HDNL driver is fantastic! I've never had a parcel which is "out for delivery" on a specific day not turn up, he's friendly but not OTT or weird, will put heavy parcels inside the door for me so I dont have to left them at all (useful as I'm pregnant)
I get probably 3 deliveries a week delivered by that driver and have never had any concerns.
Sorry to hear that its not the cas for the rest of you & fingers crossed my driver doesnt change!
  • It has been four weeks without my goods being delivered :T and Amazon have promised to replace them FOC.:j HDNL said they left them on my doorstep.............. Hmmm!:money:I have good reason to be angry.

It amazes me how many people moan about the service they receive from delivery companies. When you placed an order with whoever surely you must realise (if you are in f/t employment like most of us) that there is a strong possibility that you won't be home when the delivery is attempted! So do yourself a favour and get it delivered to work or a relative. If thats not possible leave a note on the door ' Parcel Delivery - If out leave with neighbour at.... ' Hardly rocket science is it?

    regardless
a delivery company should have a system in place to relatively easily collect/arrange redelivery of your item
