Ebay sent this: Hello Rachael,
Thank you for writing to us regarding the negative feedback you may
receive from your buyer ""
I can understand your concern about receiving negative Feedback in this
case, but I hope you'll appreciate that the Feedback Forum is a place
where buyers can share their experiences freely and openly. If eBay got
directly involved, then our opinion would replace that of buyers. We
will intervene to remove Feedback in very limited circumstances and you
can read our policy on this by copying this link into a new browser
window:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/feedback-abuse-withdrawal.html
As your buyer hasn't yet left Feedback for you, we can't say if it will
fall into one of these categories. Our advice, at this point, is to
contact the buyer directly. In many cases, the issue can be resolved
before any Feedback is left.
The vast majority of members are fair in their comments and, where
unfair Feedback is left, it tends to be easy to spot - especially if
most of your Feedback is positive. Remember you do have a 'right of
reply' via the Feedback Forum. A polite, honest and measured response is
the best way to confirm you're a responsible trading partner and will
allow other members to judge the situation for themselves.
Rachael, I hope I've explained our position clearly and I wish you good
luck in your future trading on eBay.
Kind regards,
Susan Harwood

should i just cancel- i thought even if they dont agree it gets cancelled.
ignore the email, it's more or less an automated response, and phone them instead.
You may have to wait until the buyer actually leaves negative feedback and low stars and get it removed, from what other people have said.0 -
Ahhh, I have re-read your initial post, and have changed your mind.
Firstly, the note that said "anything less than 5* isnt good enough for ebay ect" is probably just a note saying they're providing high quality 5* product, as if it wasn't, they wouldn't bother selling it on ebay.
Thus I think your negative feedback was rather harsh. A neutral at the worst...
I also thought they'd already left a neg for you already... but it's just a message. The message doesn't actually threaten anything. It just states that you left someone a neg, they've bought your shoes, and you should remove your negative feedback. It doesn't actually say what will happen if you don't.
If you cancel the transaction, you'll get a neg anyway, and as it isn't actually a threat, then there isn't anything you can do. I'd just send them the shoes, but make sure they go special delivery so you can definitely prove delivery!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Hi they didnt pay for special delviery- it would cost alot more.
edit: i dont want to send the shoes then for them to say their damaged/didnt come/badly packed ect...thats the outcome i dont want.0 -
if you're really going to send them i would send special and fund it myself.
I guess they would claim not as described though, and by the sounds of them return the item damaged.0 -
How can i cancel the transaction.
Pug in a bed: This is what im worried about.

Best remove it, you're not supposed to put anything in listings to identify people, although I have put the name in as user id & I can't see that they've bought shoes or sold felt tips & it's a USA user
How much extra would it cost to send the shoes special delivery?0 -
its £7 to send special delivery before 1pm0
